Cinebot 30 is a new generation of cinematic FPV drone developed by the GEPRC team. The aluminum parts of the camera are still made of high-strength 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy materials. The TPU shock-absorbing pad is designed on the bracket structure, which can excellently isolate the high-frequency vibration of the fuselage.
The upgraded video transmission system also combines market feedback to upgrade the gimbal top plate of the fuselage, which is compatible with the camera base fixed by 4-hole screws, so that Cinebot30 can mount a full-sized GoPro camera very well.
Adopts high-strength one-piece injection-molded propeller guard and high-toughness and impact-resistant PC material for injection molding. A ring-shaped Cob light strip is embedded in the propeller guard, and the light effect is carefully tuned. High-strength grain-cut carbon fiber sheet, the overall strength of the fuselage is upgraded again!
Cinebot30 will be equipped with a powerful 1804 motor with optimized motor magnetic circuit and surging torque, which can easily cope with ultra-low altitude shooting. With HQ prop T76mm*3 propeller, it gets the lowest noise effect in its class. Using GEP-F722-45A AIO v2 flight controller, higher performance redundancy, and easy handling of unexpected situations.
Tuned by GEPRC professionals, the Cinebot30 is a Cinematic FPV that performs both indoor and outdoor flights equally well. The Cinebot30 explores endless possibilities for your drone shots!

Easy to set up. Touchy throttle out of the box.
Coming from the DJI FPV, this was a great bind and fly option.Things I like about the Cinebot30:1) The setup is easy. Was able to bind it to the DJI Controller 2 and Goggles v2 without any issues – no firmware updates needed, the o3 unit was up to date. Was easy to use Betaflight to set up button controls (I learned from Youtube).2) It’s fun to fly. This flies smoother and feels more nimble than the DJI FPV. It weighs 393g with the Ovonic 1000mAh 6s – much less than the FPV.3) It’s durable. As a beginner, I’ve crashed many times (into the wall while indoors, into trees, even fell from 40′ pressing the disarm button mid flight by mistake). There are minor scuff marks on the frame, but the shape and balance are still pristine.4) It’s relatively safe and practical. A lot safer to fly around things and close to objects than the FPV. It’s also less noisy and does not draw as much attention.Things I don’t like:1) Throttle control is a bit touchy with OEM settings making flying indoors difficult at first. I am getting better at it though, and this can probably be modified in the settings.2) Yeah, the SD slot is inaccessible without taking it apart. Luckily there’s about 20GB of internal storage on the o3, which suits me fine.3) It’s expensive. With today’s price, you might be better off buying it direct, or waiting for a sale.4) The o3 doesn’t record audio; unlike with the Dji FPV where I appreciated having the audio available without having to record it separately. The DJI FPV is still great to fly in wide open wilderness. If you have one and are looking for something smaller, more durable to practice on, safer, less noisy, but every bit as fun to fly, this is a great drone. It works seamlessly with the FPV remote and goggles.

Great proximity flyer
Excellent for close flying where you want the prop cards to protect walls and other items from damage, but can really open up speed wise when you are looking to cover some ground

MicroSD card slot and binding button are not easily accessible with O3 unit
You’ll need to remove bottom plate to insert card, and I never could see the bind button (because I returned it instead of proceeding further to remove the bottom plate). Also, one screw on bottom plate arrived fully backed out of hole. QC seems to be an issue, so back she went. However, seems the other two FC options don’t have this access issue based on YouTube videos. Sad, because the reviews for this drone are over the moon, and I really wanted to add this to my collection. Maybe version two will get things right.

Defective and not ready to fly.
Defective yaw as shown by professional drone builder attached to video above. These drones have zero to little quality control with zero to little instructions for beginners and even advanced fpv’ers. Thank God I bought this one from Amazon as their refund policy for my prior cinewhoop 35 from their site directly was a joke. They really had a cool thing going but offer no support in troubleshooting. FACTORY UARTS pointed to uart 4 when FC was wired to uart 2. So many other issues out of the box trying to just bind it. Their instructions in box are terrible. Their customer service is non existent. I wish it were as advertised.

It’s fast
This 03 quad cinebot 30 has 1804 motors and takes 6s xt60 lipo batteries. It can carry a full go pro, but of course lighter will be better. The o3 camera is great on sunny days. This thing is fast. I’ve flown it indoors, but really had to dial down the rates and throttle scaling in beta flight. Serious power for a 3 inch quad. It just wants to go. Pretty fast for a whoop. I like flying it in angle mode, but acro seems okay. If you want to slow it down some outside of rate manipulation, 4s battery will work.

requires setup on Betaflight
I purchased mine from GEPRC not amazon. It is a high quality and nearly indestructible quad. 130 flights so far, 40 crashes, and at least 30 of those would have put my dji fpv in the shop for a few weeks, and likely land repairs bills that double what I paid for this little gem. I got it because I have limited spaces to practice in and the DJI FPV was too fragile and big to run around my yard while learning. The Cinebot30 is well worth the money if you’re serious about getting into fpv. That being said, while it is marketed as “plug and play”, the reviewer above isn’t wrong about quality control, and running it through Betaflight is recommended. Mine came with two motors spinning the wrong way. But a quick run through Betaflight, swap motor direction, and I was flying. Betaflight is also a hell of a tool familiarize yourself with anyway. You can pretty much take any quad and program/tune it to your personal flight preferences.Likes: It’s easy to pick up and fly. The angle and horizon mode rates are good for beginners. The “acro mode” is smooth, and for cinematic type footage it really is nice. It’s small enough to run in larger indoor venues. The ducts are durable, and act as bumpers making it safer (not 100% safe or recommended) to film around people. It is also very capable of freestyle acro. There’s a bit of yaw wash coming out of steep dives, and general prop wash if you descend too fast… but it’s a whoop, that’s expected behavior.dislikes: setup was a learning curve. Reversing the motors right out of the box was a little annoying. Yaw wash out of a dive is a bit annoying… but fly it like a quality whoop is expected to fly and for that purpose, it’s a great.
