Clear, simple instructions, and very easy to put together, even for this 70 year old woman. Only time my husband helped was to carry the box to my craft room and to set the desk upright (which I could have done, but husband’s do enjoy being needed).4. So, so simple to connect turning rod to motor.5. The motor works ultra quietly with very smooth lifting and lowering.6. Shipped quickly and arrived earlier than expected.7. It was packed so well that even FedEx was unable to destroy it. That in itself is amazing.8. All the pieces were in perfect condition, and hardware so clearly labeled that a 3 year old could easily be your helper. Each packet had exactly the right amount, and there was a second packet labeled extras, which was very thoughtful.I purchased the 55 inch desk, which is perfect for my crafting, and when I want to sew, I raise it to the higher level to cut out fabric, which makes it a lot easier on my back. I enjoy making wreaths, diamond painting, sewing and I paint with acrylics on canvas. It accommodates all those things, but would make a great computer desk too for the office.Now for the bad points:Uhmmmmm… Oh wait … There is one. I didn’t particularly like the cover for the hole that cords go through. But then again, I don’t use the cover so Nope, not a bad point for me.

Great for tall people….
I searched all the furniture stores and could not find a raising desk tall enough for me to comfortably work on, in the raised position. I’m over 6 feet tall. In then scoured the internet for a raising desk tall enough for me, I finally found the perfect one on Amazon.After getting the parts out of the box and laying them out, it took me only about 30 minutes to put it together. I decided I needed to accessorize it to make it work better for me. I found a dual monitor stand, desk lamp, cable management rack and 18 outlet surge protector with USB ports. I’m super happy with everything. The absolute best part of all this is, everything – with all the accessories – is still cheaper than just the desks I looked at in the stores.I thought about the 40” or 48” wide desks, since it would take less space. I weighed the pros and cons, I decided to get the 55” wide model. I am really glad I went this route since I have found that I use a lot more desk space than I had anticipated. In the end, I’m happy I bit the bullet with the slightly wider one.The motor on this desk is surprisingly quiet (the air purifier is louder than the motor). In the video, you can see it has no problems with everything on the desk plus my 10 lb. backpack hanging on the side. Since I don’t have an office space I can use this in, I have to put it in my living room. So, I put super sliders under the feet. Edited 8/26/23: The desktop stopped working after a few days and less than about 20 up-down cycles. After trying a few simple diagnostics suggested by the seller, which didn’t correct the problem, they sent a replacement for the controller that seemed to have gone bad. The replacement controller did the trick and the desk is working again.Original text: It was obvious upon unpacking that a lot of thought went into this desk, starting with the packaging. There were plastic corner protectors on the desktop, formed styrofoam around the various parts and box edges, cardboard between layers, and plastic bags around all the painted parts. Everything was in perfect condition. The hardware was well identified, and the assembly instructions were relatively easy to follow. A combination hex/Allen wrench and screwdriver are supplied, but I recommend having a cordless screwdriver set to a low force setting, as there are quite a few screws.The box was a bit heavier than I expected, but once opened, it was clear that this is due to the desk being well constructed and very sturdy. All of the parts seem to be of top quality and strength. The feet are heavy, presumably to help avoid tipping; the motor is a bit heavy for its size, giving the impression that it’s quite strong. Although the desktop comes in two pieces, the dowels and brackets line up perfectly, giving the top a seamless appearance with a beautiful light wood pattern. The legs and feet are white, and the front of the feet have black plastic bumpers which help protect your toes (though I’m a klutz, I’m usually barefoot at the home office).The parts include a long power cord and a cradle under the desktop for the AC to DC converter, plastic straps to tidy up all the cords, and what I presume is a headset hanger that can be placed under the desktop near any corner.I have two 27″ screens, my laptop, and other items on this desk, yet the motor is nearly silent and has no trouble lifting the desktop very smoothly. The controls are fancier than I expected; they’re clear and very easy to use, with up and down arrows, a nice height indicator (numbers in cm), and an unexpected feature: two memory buttons, which I’m using for my preferred sitting and standing heights. The height reads between 73.0 cm and 122 cm) and takes less than 30 seconds to raise from minimum to maximum height with all my stuff on it.I don’t write reviews often, but this desk deserves a good look. It is surprisingly well built and functional, and I think it is an excellent value.

1. The main top-desk contains of two parts that are interconnected by two wooden pieces and two metal plates 1,5×5 cm. So you can image the stability with the load like pc on the top.2. The quality of the desk materials while assembling will not give you a hope, uhu :(3. The desk is not stable, at all, on height more than 80+cm. It’s wobbling from left to the right as rubber toy. Btw, maximum height is 118 cm.4. 60cm depth is not enough, if you have double arm-stand for monitors. trust me5. I was even afraid to fix any cable management trays to the bottom of the desk. Better not to do so.6. Whoever did the instruction, has to review it once again for materials orientation and alignement.7. It’s not furmax branded box or table

The desk is so nice and clean, this is my first day of use, but screwing the horizontal table make holes in the wood surface itself, I wish this was covered by any steel to make it more durable and sustainable, anyway the desk looks good and height can be managed easily.

I recently purchased the Furmax Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk, and while it works well once set up, I did have some issues with the delivery and assembly process.First, the desk arrived without the original packaging, which was disappointing. When I started assembling it, I discovered a few parts were missing, which was really frustrating. Luckily, I was able to contact customer service, and they were helpful in sending out the missing components, but it delayed my setup by a couple of days.Once fully assembled, the desk works as expected. The height adjustment is smooth and quiet, and it provides a solid, sturdy surface. The desk surface (48 x 24 inches) is spacious enough for my dual monitors and other office equipment. I also like the memory presets, which make adjusting the height quick and easy.Overall, it’s a good desk, but the missing parts and unprofessional packaging were a letdown. If you can deal with potential shipping issues, it’s a solid choice for a standing desk, but the company needs to improve its packaging and quality control.
