It worked on my ps5 instantly as soon as I installed it. 2.01 TB of storage after install. Wonderful product. I bought the WD Playstation branded one and my ps5 wouldn’t recognize it. I returned it and got this cheap chinese brand instead, not expecting much, but to my surprise, it works! Oh, and the heat sink was pre-installed!
