    Impressive, most impressive
*Reference images for size comparisons*After hours and hours of research, videos, and reviews on gaming mice I settled on this Aria XD7 by Fantech. I enjoy using this mouse for my hybrid fingertip & relaxed claw grip style. You can palm grip this mouse pretty well if you have smaller hands. A straight fingertip style is good but its best suited for a claw grip style. Most importantly this mouse fits great for my lower end medium male hands. I do not have those quarterback or basketball star hands; my life is over :(I have been using this mouse wirelessly for a month straight, just about every day for 3+ hours.Overall, the battery life is very good. I charge a little over once a week, 7-9 days. The switches are great, very responsive, and great for my slow set for double clicking for guaranteed double clicks. The mouse wheel feels just right. It’s not smooth rolling and gives you solid control. The polling rate is at 1000hz, it has a very good sensor; a pixart 3395 if memory serves me right. The software is good. It is exactly what I would expect for a performance gaming mouse. I do enjoy the customization with the DPI settings. I am a fan of the simplistic RGB lighting too. I am also a fan of the fact that the RGB can be customized beyond just a few colors, you can set pulsating or breathing responses at any duration you may choose. You can even set macro key sets with this software, not really important for me, but I am sure someone out there will appreciate the detail to give a user more options in the competitive atmosphere.I have had zero connectivity issues wirelessly. Thee has been no drop connections, not one. The Bluetooth tech is not there IMO. It lags and takes time connect. Setting up the Bluetooth was easy to do but it took more time than I would have expected it would take. The only issue outside of poor Bluetooth Tech (not the mouse’s fault) was in finding the software program on the Fantech site. If memory serves me right, it wasn’t a simple task. I had to do some hunting, or a few changes in the URL address words from another mouse software download location. Once I got it downloaded it has worked great.I do like the magnetic cover changes that come with this mouse. Two different styles for the palm area. The feel of the mouse clicks are very good. Kailh 8.0 switches hold up great with above average response times.Build quality is pretty spot on here. I have had no noticeable issues. It has a light feel to it that gives the perception that it’s brittle but it’s not. Now hell I could throw this like a baseball at the wall and I will destroy it but with normal usage it holds together very well.Lastly this mouse is a great value for what you will receive. Is it the best “top” tier competitive gaming mouse? No. Is it great for standing your own in fps, casual gaming, and some lite mmos? Hell yes.Overall, a great buy. I have even humored the thought of purchasing another one.

Excellent all in one light weight productive gaming mouse alternative to more well known brands
I was in the market to find a new lightweight portable mouse for primarily productivity on a laptop with a gaming pedigree. After much research this one to my surprise looks and feels really good in person! Not too big or small, just right for me and comfortable. USB-C port for charging and can be used to connect as a wired mouse. Let alone the versatility of Bluetooth 5.0 for my use during office productivity work or using the provided dongle for their 1000hz polling 2.4Ghz mode when I’m down for some FPS gaming. Mouse wheel feels great and not too noisy but no left and right scrolling nor free spinning wheel mode. Not a big deal, but I would’ve also have preferred the left/right mouse switches to be a notch less clicky sounding for office use and would feel a bit more premium in my opinion. DPI adjust button should have been on top of mouse below the scroll wheel which has the space for it and not under the mouse. Still, this mouse checked all of my boxes and will keep any eye out for when and if Fantech comes out with a v2 of this mouse. Logitech has always been my go to mouse in the past but their latest mouse of similar offerings and prices did not fare well with me. I was also close to pulling the trigger on the Razer Orochi v2, but determined the smaller size, ergonomics, and no USB-C charging persuaded me to try the Aria XD7 in the end and is a keeper. I updated to firmware v1.1 immediately so did not notice any issues that had been reported on the internet so far with debouncing.Things I liked:- Perfect sized mouse for me somewhere between a small to medium sized mouse which in strikes a good balance for comfort, gaming, and portability on the go.- Quality gaming mouse switches and optical sensor- Lightweight- Clean aesthetics, size, and does not feel cheap- Adjustable DPI (Configurable in their mouse software too!)- Switchable Bluetooth, Wired, or 2.4Ghz Dongle modes- USB-C Charging- Scroll wheel feels excellent- Changeable lower half Shell of the mouse and magnetic!- Includes gaming mouse stick on grip pads, extra skates, and extra alternative lower half shell. Thank goodness Fantech included a solid lower half shell replacement as I personally do not like the Swiss cheese look just to keep a little more weight down.- Storage compartment for USB dongleThings I feel Fantech could improve:- DPI adjustment button moved to top of mouse below the scroll wheel- Mouse scroll wheel tilt for scrolling left and right- Use less clicky left and right switches to tune down the noise a slight notch for a more premium feel- Battery percentage remaining status indicator on the mouse via ledOther mice used:Logitech G903 LightspeedLogitech G502Logitech MX518

Great mouse; middle mouse button starting to glitch out around 10 months in
This mouse is a pretty good gaming mouse, it comes with grip tapes, replacement skates, and has a long battery life, I found myself charging it every 3-4 days and it doesn’t take long for a full charge. The only issue I have with the mouse is, about 10 months in, the middle mouse button doesn’t always respond when I click it, and sometimes it registers one click as two. Otherwise, it’s a good mouse.

    Best small mouse
I have smaller hands and prefer a small mouse, typically use a Razer Orochi but wanted something better with similar size and feel. This Aria is amazing and fits perfect, super light and fast.

Great shape/clicks but software dearly lacking
This is a shame, I struggle to find mice that work for my hand and this one seems to. Build quality/clicks are great too. I haven’t yet found any way to remap the side buttons that works the way I need them to for ffxiv. This makes the use unusable for me. Logitech, razer, glorious, steelseries, and endgame gear all can do that, but have issues for me with quality control, size/shape, other software bugs that make them unusable for me.If that wasn’t bad enough their tech support is completely nonexistent. It’s advertised at “24/7” on their website, and 48 hours later I have zero response from them. This will be returned. Do better.

I bought this for the shape, and I like it well enough. Build quality is solid. Clicks are nice, but kinda loud. The magnetic shell is definitely a gimmick, but not a bad one – it lets you swap out the back shell and access the wireless dongle without unscrewing anything. The magnets are also quite secure so there should be no shifting around during normal use.It came loaded with v1.0 firmware, so I updated it using the v1.1 firmware from the Fantech website. The process was pretty straightforward.

Edit: Customer service has refunded my purchase and have updated the review to 5/5Good mouse but the scroll wheel has failed in 3 months of use. Will update review based on customer service.

so cute but the driver doesn’t work so I can’t change toggles

  10. Joey

Still the best shape I’ve used for claw grip.My copy experienced some double clicking sadly but I realize it’s not necessarily fantechs fault as the kailh 8.0 switches used are known for this double clicking issues usually fixed through firmware updates. Although I have updated the firmware and re-seated the top shell cover with no improvements. I do recommend the shape to anyone who uses claw grip though I must warn the possibility of getting an unlucky copy with bad switches is a possibility. Would love to see fantech use something like the huano blue shell pink dots or something but the gm 8.0s are a nice switch when no double clicking issue is present. Fantechs official site support could not help me as they redirected me to the Amazon seller for warranty which has since been dealt with. Originally I had a rough experience because of this with support but it was quickly dealt with after a few days when I contacted the Amazon seller. I do recommend trying this mouse out. But beware of the notorious gm 8.0 double click issue. I also highly recommend the seller as they did solve my issue in the end. I’ll be waiting impatiently for an updated xd7 model. I can’t say it enough the shape itself is REALLY nice.
