I purchased this camera for an online class. It works well, was plug and play, super affordable. All in all the product is great for what it is. I really like that is came with a privacy cover. No issues with the picture when inside the focus range, or the mic both are super clear. I will say that I only use this camera for testing. I have never attempted to use this camera for anything else because I have no desire to stream or make video calls.The only “issue” I have is the listing. I really wish it had been in the product name that this is a fixed focus camera. There is another model of this camera on this listing for an Auto-focus camera for only 5 dollars more and I miss took the AF to mean Air Force (all thanks to growing up in a military community,) thinking it was just for a special color so I never even clicked on it. It is now the next quarter at my school and my new instructor is super picky about being able to read my name on my photo ID which this camera can’t clearly provide. The auto-focus model can provide a clearer picture from slightly closer then the fixed focus camera can. I definitely learned my lesson and will be reading the full product description going forward.This is not the camera for you if you need to be able to show small print in a recorded video.

Most definately worth the price
My wife’s laptop’s camera audio was not working well for zoom mettings – this did the trick, very clear pictures – much better audio – plug and play.

Bricked, Now Useless
I am happy to say that this worked fine for about 10 months, so I am not comfortable giving it one star given the price point (though I was tempted). Then started another 10 months of decline – randomly resetting in the middle of meetings – until today when I finally drew a line. Now this I cannot use this thing for longer than five minutes without it crashing my docking station, and have tried every solution prescribed by the manufacturer to fix it.

I haven’t used very many cameras for conferencing, and they have mostly been poor quality cameras. I wanted to spend a little more, and get a better camera, but didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars for professional quality.I got pretty much what I was looking for. Image quality from this camera is much improved over the cheapos I have used in the past. I especially like the zoom function, as I don’t really want other people to see my messy office, or the kids acting out in the doorway. I can zoom on me, and me alone. Better yet, I don’t have to remain stock still. The camera tracks and focuses on me, to some extent.I also like the 4 mics and two speakers. I am told that my voice carries well during conferencing, and I also hear other people quite well. I’ve ditched my head set, which was often less than satisfactory.On the negative side – I am not getting 4K from this camera. I just don’t get the option to use 4K. I haven’t done enough research to figure out why. Perhaps it is due to my consumer grade video card, I can’t say at this time. I can switch between 1080 and 720, no problem, but the software doesn’t offer 4k. Perhaps it’s an issue with my USB hub?I think I’m getting $100 worth of value, as the video I’m sending doesn’t shout “Cheap company video equipment”. I’m just disappointed that I’m not transmitting 4k video. I hope to figure out why, but it may be a few weeks, because I simply lack the time right now.

Can’t beat the price point on this camera. No issues with it after 18 months of weekly use. I’m assured by others in the video conference that my 1080P video and audio are clear. Plug and play so what more can you ask. Definitely recommend.
