Nice looking, good quality
I’ve been using them mostly as desktop speakers for my desktop PC, for about 2 or 3 months now. They look awesome on my desk and they do their job flawlessly. I’m not an audio engineer or specialist but I like the sound coming out of them. The bluetooth functionality works well too

Good Sound
I enjoy having music playing almost all of the time. I like many genres of music. I like the rich sound these speakers produce. So much better than the tinny sound from my phone or the flat sound from my portable bluetooth speaker. They are plenty loud. The set-up instructions were clear and easy to follow. I have multiple devices connected some through bluetooth and some hard wired. I also appreciate the classic appearance of these speakers. I am past the point in my life where I want everything to light up and flash in multiple colors at me. I ordered the gray front with the wood grain sides and they make a nice addition to the decor.

Bound easily to the phone, great sound quality and they look nice to boot. Remember, these are small bookshelf speakers , not Klipsh horns attached to a Crown amp. Don’t drive them hard or they go boom splat.Good build quality and an amazing price. Very satisfied

Could not connect to Amazon Alexa
I worked with Amazon support. It would not connect to Amazon Alexa. It sounded good streaming from my Android phone. I wanted it for Alexa so I returned it. I don’t think it has a microphone so I don’t know it it would be useful as a speaker if I could get it to pair.

Having spent thousands of dollars on speakers and with comparison points from $100-100,000, you will not find better speakers for $150…? Insane value

Great desktop speakers for daily PC usage
These desktop speakers are perfect in size, great appearance and most importantly sound.These were a Christmas gift for my daughter who said the sound was “clean”.She had to replace her Klipsch and I switched from Klipsch to Edifier recently.It was an easy decision.The construction was solid, beautiful wood finish, performance clean and tight, great price for a great piece of sound engineering.My daughter and I both pleased.

Wow! Never heard those noises before!
The frequency range on these is so much wider than our TVs… Duh moment for sure. I laughed at myself the first time I heard some of the bass frequencies and thought it was the cats running around upstairs! LOLWe got these to replace one of those small desk size bluetooth speakers…. That was what we used to use in bed to hear the TV more clearly.These Edifier R1280DB speakers are just kick butt! I got the Bluetooth version because I didn’t want to run wires by the sliding glass door. They sound fantastic. They have no real latency that I can detect (I’m sure there is some, but it’s less than we see from the old, admittedly ancient, Sony soundbar in the Family Room that’s connected via the fiber).The price is just remarkable on these. They punch way above their weight. But, I hope they don’t go up any time soon, I do need to do something about that soundbar! Seriously, I cannot recommend these enough for something like our use, bedroom speakers. probably even family room speakers. I am tempted ot try a pair with my macBook to see how they are at something like studio monitors as well. I don’t know how flat they are, exactly… I wager they’d be great for just all around music listening as well!
