A much needed change
Origins has revitalized the series after the fiasco that was DW9. Gameplay is fun and smooth. My only gripes are the lack of characters and customization. Aside from that, I like the direction they’re heading.

They made it look great and I’m glad they finally have a new one! With that said, I enjoy the way you get new weapons by defeating certain enemies with that weapon and if it gets too hard, you can lower the difficulty, but the negatives are kind of on par with thepositives, such as no character customization, and there is just a story, no other mode. But it is a fun game so far.

The moments that have stuck with me most involve taking down hundreds of opponents at once, with fights against legendary warriors like Lu Bu usually just adding a bit of flavor to that carnage. However, with Origins, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have balanced the scales between story and combat.Three Kingdoms’ broader storylines are often the driving force behind some of Dynasty Warriors’ biggest battles, the real focus and draw of this series has always been the action itself. The moments that have stuck with me most involve taking down hundreds of opponents at once, with fights against legendary warriors like Lu Bu usually just adding a bit of flavor to that carnage. However, with Origins, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have balanced the scales between story and combat.

It’s a dynasty warriors game , you take on army’s and play through the three kingdoms . But you play as a wanderer and are able to acquire different weapons , but only get to play as the hero characters from the older games in a few small moments

A good new direction for the series.
I’ve been a player of the series since Dynasty Warriors 2. This games changes some of the things in the series for the better. By becoming a character not directly from the novel, it allows for more interaction with the characters. The ability to switch weapons mid match and the gem system are a nice way to spice up battle and make the gameplay more unique than previous entries. I personally look forward to further expansions for this game, and feel this is a step in the right direction for the series.

I am totally disappointed in the condition of the package. The game case was shattered and it was in a thin cardboard envelope. You would expect a company as large as Amazon would at least ship in a bubble envelope to prevent this. Will definitely look elsewhere before buying from them again. The game itself worked and was good.
