Awesome on my DJI Mini 4 Pro- great strobe to meet the 3 statute miles US requirement!
I just did my first night flight with my DJU Mini 4 Pro with this strobe. This flight was about 40 minutes long and I had no issues with it. Here in the US we are required to have 3 statute miles visibility and this met the requirement very easily. I mounted it on the top of my mini just behind the back 360 camera and had zero flash in the video.Pro’s: Small, lightweight, bright, multiple colors, strobe effect or solid colors, USB A to C cable, and of course easy to see on the drone at night. Red light on when charging, no light when fully charged. Charged within 10-15 minutes.Cons: No charging block with it. I recommend an older max 2.1 charger.

Great strobe – the one to buy
Got this for my DJI Mini 2SE. Love it. It’s insanely bright, and with all the different color options you’ll have a strobe that suits your needs. It’s light enough that I still fly <250g with it attached.

Small , soft button but bright and works
Small light , probably should buy c port silicone plugs , could not hurt.Button doesn’t give any feedback as far as a click. It holds memory if you push and hold button till off. I went with the more expensive version for the claim of brightness and the blue color. I may not use it but for 5$ can’t add it later so worth it , bought 2 one for top and another for back so I can easily see orientation of drone. Probably closer to 3.5 than 4 no real need to use a soft button for this a colicky button better for this is my personal option.Satisfied I suppose I’ll keep them .size a plus button is a negative but works both my lights have this soft button without feedback. Can’t compare to any other so this is just how I feel based on what I have. Longevity I can’t say. The plug that come with if cords C are really tight hard on and off so scared to pull it off board ones I had already goes in well but why not send ones that work smooth unless it’s a built in but another because you pulled it off . Only reason I can think of lol seams everyone trying to build in repeat buyers but if that does happen to mine I’ll never buy same again. If you want any real protection on these lights get from elsewhere. This should be fine I won’t be flying a drone in wet weather. Lights are needed to be compliant for night flights. Probably help in day as well . Safety first I’ll use them any time I fly. Why not any little thing I can do to enjoy my hobby the safest way Il do . When you spend 1100$ on a drone what’s a couple safety lights worth 🙂

BRIGHT!
This is VERY bright and easy to put on my DJI mini. I have it blinking white usually since I can see it better in bright sun.

Inconsistent Quality but Worth Considering – ViFly Platinum
Backstory:I have been flying professionally for 10 years and have used many LED navigation and anti-collision lights on the market. I currently use Flytron’s Strobon C-1 because it is very reliable and consistently above average in quality. It is an excellent bang for the buck when considering the objective of these lights. The Flytron’s battery and the overall size are smaller, so it has a shorter runtime, lasting approximately 2 to 4 hours.I recently began a search for newer technology, including brightness, colors, and patterns.I considered HeiyRC lights, but they do not claim to use Cree LEDs, nor are they shrink-wrapped for protection, as these and the Flytron LEDs are. The HeiyRC light (sold on Amazon) is a bare board with potential for issues, specifically for professional droners. If you are not concerned with a bare board, consider the HeiyRC for the price.Firehouse lights are great, but the price is becoming silly. Though they are great lights, have a well-made enclosure, and can be had with a remote control, they are overpriced for what they are. Approximately $100 USD if you intend to fly three on a drone, as many commercial droners with large aircraft will do. Two act as navigation lights, and one as an anti-collision light or another combination of nav/anti-collision.PROS:- Larger battery for longer run times. After fully charging, I set one to a white quick strobe and one to a red quick strobe. The red lasted 7+ hrs, while the white lasted 5 1/2 hrs, a longer run time than the manufacturer lists.- Multiple colors on one board: White, Red, Green, and Blue. I tested all of them and was pleased with the amount of light the Cree LED provided. The white strobe on this board is the brightest of all boards I have tested, but that is partially due to it leveraging three white LEDs simultaneously.- Multiple modes. Quick and “slow” flash, and constant on.- Each comes in a small plastic carrying case with a 3″ USB cord and enough 3M (like) dual lock tape used to attach the board to the drone.- Price. I believe these are a good price point for the features, except for the Quality Control.CONS:- A more extensive battery makes the entire package larger, mostly in length. Many vendors have similar widths (except Firehouse), but I am unaware of any longer ones.- Quality Control (QC) is lacking. I purchased two, tested them, and then purchased four more. The second shipment has a different power button, which is not better. The power button on two of the boards is very tactile the way it was intended, and the user can clearly understand that they are pushing and releasing the button. The second shipment’s buttons are almost impossible to feel, and one must wait for the light to power on to know they have pushed and held the power button. I considered shipping these four back because they may be defective. *** I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR VIFLY’S POSITION ON THIS. ***- Though it is shrink-wrapped, it is still partially exposed to weather.OBSERVATIONS / OPINION:- One of the boards may have been malfunctioning and cleared itself. One of the fully charged boards ran through the power-down light sequence when I held the power button to activate the board (power up/on). I attempted to power on the board several times, but the power-down light sequence was the only outcome. I recharged the board, and it worked as expected afterward.- I had one unexpectantly stop working in the field. It had been charged several days before the mission and would not power on when I arrived in the field. This is concerning because of the previous bullet point. Are these discharging rapidly on the shelf? If so, why?- I read one or more reviews regarding shrink-wrapping and how the reviewer was surprised and felt that the practice is “cheap.” This is a common practice at this price point and does not affect the functionality.Overall, these LEB boards are a good value, assuming the quality does not begin to slide, as it may have with the power button. ViFly sells board housings at the Amazon store, but they appear very cheap, and I feel they add no value. Additionally, they will mute the overall brightness of the LEDs because the 3D-printed plastic is not fully transparent. If you are a professional droner with an unlimited budget, Firehouse could be your brand of choice, but if you are on a budget, these ViFly (Platinums) LEDs are a solid choice for $18 -20 USD.

Lots of options
It’s small. Light colors and flashing options: white, red, green and blue. Fast double strobe, slow strobe, and solid. It’s not completely encased to provide wet weather or moisture resistance. Rather it’s encased in a clear heat tape that feels pretty durable. The Velcro provided is firm. I like how compact it is
