Great set to practice indoor or out. Use tent stakes gently if out.
This Drone Obstacle Course is a fantastic addition for any drone enthusiast, whether you’re a seasoned FPV racer or just starting out. The set includes three easy-to-build obstacle hoops and a loop gate, perfect for creating challenging courses indoors or out. I’ve been using them with my whoop drones, and they’ve added a whole new level of fun to my flying sessions. The lightweight design is great for indoor use. Even in the winter, I’ve been able to set them up on the floor and even incorporate furniture like the couch into my courses. The hoops do tend to fall over easily, which, while it might seem like a drawback, is actually a great feature. It acts as a prop-saver, preventing damage to your drone if you happen to clip an obstacle. Of course, even with enclosed prop whoops, accidents can still happen, but these obstacles definitely minimize the risk. For outdoor use, the lightweight nature of the hoops means you’ll need to secure them. Tent stakes are a great solution, providing enough stability to keep them upright in a light breeze, while still allowing them to fall over if you crash. This balance of stability and “give” is key to protecting your drone.Overall, this obstacle course is a great value. It’s easy to assemble, versatile enough for indoor and outdoor use, and helps protect your drone from damage. Whether you’re a kid (ages 12-14 I recommended) or an adult, this set is sure to provide hours of fun and challenging flying experiences.Highly recommended!

    Not Wind Friendly
I have to say I like these rings. They’re easy to put together. They’ve very sturdy all things considered. The ring itself is pretty large. My foldable drone cuts it a bit close. It does mean that I’ll be more skillful in my flying because of that snug fit. When you put the feet on I suggest pointing them in opposite directions. Each one is kind of like a ski and there is a little lip that points up. Put them in opposing directions. The one problem is wind. Again, they are fairly large, I’d say probably a foot or just over in diameter, they are oddly light. So a decent gust of wind blows them right over or carries them off. Also, get yourself a little bag or something to keep them in. There are a lot of pieces to keep up with.

    Decent loops
Pros: Affordable, very easy to assemble, quite stable with feet installed.Cons: Very thin profile, difficult to see when flying at speed. I improved it by adding some wide color duct tape (photo).

    Great for tiny whoop
These gates fall over if you crash into them unless you tape the feet down. They’re quick to assemble (and reassemble). They are also lightweight enough to tape to walls with painters tape to make what I’m calling quidditch hoops. We’re only using them inside right now since it’s winter. These are a great gate for beginners and advanced alike, the opening is smaller than the pop up style gates but it’s not like threading a needle or anything.

Turns the fun dial to 11!
There are not many other things I love more in this world than flying my tiny whoops. Adding obstacles adds so much more fun! I have been using these daily indoors and out and they work great! They’re super durable and can take a hit (especially from tiny little whoops) without issue. They snap together very firm. You will need to really push them together well which is good because they stay attached and weigh enough to keep standing even in a bit a wind. The instructions are clear and easy to understand and I had all 3 built and put together in a little under 5 minutes so super fast to get you up and flying quickly. They can also be disassembled to save space. Overall these are great and work very well for what they’re meant for. If I had one thing to say to the manufacturer. You give us 2 extra pieces which is awesome and I took those 2 pieces and added them both to one of the gates making it a bigger gate. But if you were to give 3 extras you could have one normal one, one that had 1 added piece making it a medium size, and 2 added to the 3rd making it large which would be really awesome!

    Not too shabby!
When I opened this drone obstacle kit and saw basically a bag of lego style pieces. I was a bit apprehensive BUT once I got it opened, assembly was a “snap”.I really like how easy it was to assemble this obstacle, the only main issue I had was setting this up outside the wind kept blowing it over. It was a breezy day but I would think that this would be able to endure more wind than it did.4/5 Stars

A must have for Whoops! Great for 5″ quads if you’re good!
I didn’t realize these were 21″ hoops. Makes for a bit of a challenge with 5″ or bigger quads, but they’re perfect for whoops or sub250 jobs. The construction is like Lego crossed with Hot wheels so it’s super easy. They come apart easy too, so crashes won’t put you out of commission. They are a bit lightweight so outside would only work on still days, but they’d also make great car ramp hoops, UMX airplane loops, or just about anything you could jump or fly though them. Highly Recommended!
