Excellent Dell Optiplex XE3 machine. Outstanding value for the money.
Excellent! Works great without any difficulties. Very well packaged for shipping. I ran it through DELL hardware diagnostics with no issues. The machine was clean inside, and everything connected properly. The BIOS coin-battery was fresh. All four memory-slots were occupied by 4GB Crucial DIMMs. I needed to run Windows-Update several times to get Win-11-Pro up to date.The machine was sold by TekRefurbs with whom I have transacted before and they are great.

Good but exactly what was expected
First of all, the computer works fine and is at a bargain price. You should be aware that, at least as far as my machine was concerned, the appearance was difference and unlike the pictured computer there was no DVD or CD device. If course, that could be a blank space filler in the picture. Also, the video outputs were display ports, not HDMI.Both problems were addressed by purchasing a $20.00 external DVD drive and a Display Port-HDMI driver. For the money, I am happy enough to buy one again knowing the shortfalls.

Be Careful
These machines are great machines if sold by people who KNOW how to correctly sell them. First of all unboxing the machine I found there was a card that had been removed prior to shipping. This was evident because they forgot to replace the blanking plate that is removed when a video card or other card is installed. Turns out this card was a video card. This means that I have to use the native video ports (display port) which was changed when the card they removed was programmed in BIOS to use that card not the native video onboard. So now when I plug in the display port adapter NOTHING is displayed on the screen. This means I have to install a video card and go into the BIOS change back to the factory video setting which would then allow me to use the display port.Turns out the reason they were using an independent video card is because the onboard is dead!!

The computer is excellent. I wouldn’t know it’s not new by the way it looks and runs. I couldn’t afford the specs if buying brand new. Of course, the true test of a refurbished PC is how long it lasts. I have no reason to expect any problems down the road (fingers crossed). Also, I had to contact Tecnocanada about a missing adapter. They responded immediately and resolved the issue (ends up I had it after all – it was in the keyboard box). Great service.
