After installing utilizing a simple video job took less than 30 minutes.Result; extremely clear picture, quality is amazing, no issues with cable management, back up feature has added a turning prediction as well which was not a feature I had before!Extremely happy all around.

Working great over 2 years after installation!!
This was purchased to replace the backup camera in a 2013 Ford Edge.Installation was simple considering the product. There is interior trim removal required and some disassembly of the rear hatch. If you don’t want to remove trim pieces, get someone else to do this job.The picture quality is as good as the factory for this year/model. The only reason I deducted one star is that the image is lower than the original, reducing the distance you can see from the back of the car. And there’s no way to adjust this through the Ford interface or Forscan software.Will definitely purchase this again if ever required!

Perfect fot.
This worked perfectly. YouTube helped with installation. Lines were a little off when I first installed so I pushed camera from sides to shift a little. Should have done this before putting ford decal back on. Camera is more clear than original. Did another one for my wife’s car. Worked great.

works well for after market camera
2013 Ford Edge, OEM part number DT4T-19G490-AB.This camera worked well but the lines did not line up exactly as the factory, close enough though. Image quality was better than OEM, but my OEM camera was almost 10 years old, and this after market camera actually had a slightly wider viewing angle which is nice when backing out of a parking space. The lines were straight and only curved when turning.The rear parking sensors, red and yellow warnings, displayed a little different and not as precise, but again good enough for 4 stars. Easy to install, watch the video on you tube, “Back-up camera replacement 2011-2014 Ford Edge (correct method) no drilling or cutting”. Video is about 15 minutes and it wont take much longer than that to do the replacement.Revised: stopped working after 18 months. Took a chance and installed a new one, it works. I hope I get more than 18 months out of this one but at least they aren’t too expensive.

No adjustments, bad view, backing lines are off.
Installed the camera and it has a great picture the only problem is that the lens is pointing lower than the original camera. I’m get a view of part of my license plate. There isn’t any way to adjust the view that I can see. The camera is seated properly. Another thing I realized after driving a little while is the predictive backing lines aren’t lined up with my steering wheel. My steering wheel has to be turned 90° to the left for the predictive lines to show that I’m backing up straight.

Disappointed – Not As Good as OEM.
This camera was purchased as a replacement for a 2013 Ford Edge Back Up camera. Specifications states that it works on several Ford Edge models, 2011-2015. The fact is, this camera does not work as well as the original Ford Motor back up camera! The reason this has been such a disappointment is due to how difficult it is to replace the camera. Thankfully, there are several YouTube ‘how to’ videos – non the less it is not an easy task. In conclusion, if this camera fails I will not replace it. FYI don’t even think about using the Dealer unless you have $600, and a lot of independents are not interested in this job.

Plug and Play
Install was easier than I expected. youtube has good videos for how to replace the camera. The image quality is not quite as good as the OEM camera. It appears to be brighter than the OEM camera but the quality isn’t quite as good. I also noticed that this camera is effected by the sun light more so than the OEM camera. This camera was plug and play. All backup lines still work. The lines even move with the steering wheel. All in all, its a very good camera for the price.
