Perfect replacement
My parents took their Sonata to the dealership to get the camera replaced due to the lens becoming clouded for some reason. Dealership wanted about $600 for a new camera assy and about $200 for r&r for a total of over $800. They told me about the situation and asked if that was a reasonable price to pay. Told them it was insane. I jumped on Amazon and found several options including this one. It arrived quickly and was well packed. The quality is spot on. Feels like a solid part. The wiring harness is well terminated with quality connectors. Installation was a breeze. Not even any screws to remove. The old unit is simply held in with friction clips. Popped it out, unplugged it, plugged this part in, reinstalled. Tested it and the results were perfect. The image quality is equal to the factory part. The trunk open switch is on the part too and worked fine. So, instead of a $800+ Hyundai dealership repair bill, it cost about $50 and took all of five minutes to replace. Needless to say, they were quite pleased. I’d recommend this part any day.

Absolutely Perfect for 2016 Hyundai Sonata
I just gotta say, this backup camera for my car is awesome! So, my screen went totally black when I tried to back up, and nothing I did helped. I watched a bunch of videos, but they didn’t help at all. I figured I’d give changing the camera a shot since it wasn’t too expensive, even though I wasn’t sure it would work. I was quoted some crazy prices by mechanics, so I was ready to spend whatever to fix it. I’m so glad I tried this because it worked perfectly! Super happy to have my backup camera back.Also, shipping was super quick. I did the one day delivery and it arrive at 1PM the next day.Totally recommend it!

Needed to replace my backup cam for a 2015 Sonata in Canada. Got quoted $1200 by both Hyundai and my mechanic.Bought this as a gamble because why not.Part fits exactly as it should, and did the labour myself of switching the cam out (not too difficult either).Camera is definitely clear, the back up lines load a bit slower than the OEM cam, and the orientation is slightly crooked but functional enough and beats a completely blurred broken camera.For 87$ yet still saving over $1000, this gets 5/5 from me.

Great replacement and simple to install. The camera does have a pinkish tone to it, and yes, the sticker protecting the lens during shipping has been removed.
