Pebbles strikes again!
After using budget Pebbles speakers with my PC for a year or so I decided to upgrade to something with a subwoofer.Fortunately Pebbles also had this variation.The sound may not be up to expensive audiophile standards; but it works great for me as something for games and internet streaming.It has nice power and a strong bass.Probably the best you can get for under $200.

Oh – I’ve been missing so much bass on my computer!
I’ve don’t have a ton of desk space, and a Mini-PC with limited ports on the front and back. I’ve been using the Creative Pebble’s, but latest computer doesn’t like to speak to them thru my monitor, and I was tired of hooking up to the audio jack on the front, so I wanted something with more connectivity options (USB-C and Blue-Tooth). Sub-woofer a plus. I should have made ‘compact Sub-woofer’ a requirement! I connected it up (fast and easy), and had iTunes play a random song – Sade comes on with The Sweetest Taboo – but damn, it’s so much richer and more interesting now! I’ve missed half my life.I’m not going to claim their the best, or the best value, or anything else – I haven’t done a comparison. I did some Googling, read some Reddit, picked the Creative Pebble X Plus speakers and am so damn happy with the sound, I’m going through my favorites in iTunes to see what else is totally different with some bass back in!

Max volume level
Just a tad disappointed on how loud these speakers are especially since it comes with a sub, its not as loud as I hoped they’d be and you can barely feel the sub. Not really worth the price in my opinion. My little JBL flip 5 speaker is louder. But again thats only in my opinion. But they are cute looking. I did struggle a bit with the functions. The brightness is okay. Doesn’t light up the surrounding area but doesn’t get in the way of sight. The size is perfect!

Enough power for small room gaming without over power bass.The different with and without bass like earth and sky. Much better sound with bass!Thing to consider before you buy cable from right speaker to left speaker is not removable & cable length 1.2 meter, right speaker to bass 1.8 meter also not removable

RIDICULOUSLY short cable between speakers.
These are probably decent speakers, but I will never know since the cable between the left and right speakers is less than 1 meter long and can’t be disconnected or replaced. It’s not even long enough to put the speakers to the left and right side of my desk. What’s the point in having stereo speakers if they’ve got to be so close together? I was so disappointed when I saw how short that cable was. Returning now.

Sounds quality is decent, but…
When I downloaded the Creative app to my MacBook Pro in order to control EQ settings on the speakers, I could not get the app to recognize the speakers. Even without adjusting EQ settings, the speakers sound great for what I got them for: improving sound quality on my Mac Mini M4 Pro.Again, these are not audiophile speakers. You will notice gaping holes in the lowest parts of the bass, but they are still remarkable for the sound they put out and sound way better than the stock speakers of any laptop or Mac Mini. These speakers having Bluetooth 5.3 is another bonus so that I don’t even have to think about connecting them by cable to my computer and adding clutter to my desktop.

Sono molto buone ma peccato che le impostazioni riguardo l’audio si possono gestire solo dall’applicazione di Creative per Windows e non si possano applicare direttamente alle casse,in modo che anche quando cambiando input venga processato l’audio equalizzato indipendentemente dalla sorgente,perché sul mio pc con l’applicazione aperta e le mie impostazioni applicate,la differenza di resa sonora cambia dal giorno alla notte rispetto a quando le casse sono messe in modalità aux collegate al monitor o bluetooth.Per chi fosse interessato le mie impostazioni dell’applicazione sono:Equalizer: Cyberpunk 2077Acoustic Engine: Sorround 50 Crystalizer 50

First of all, the sound is alot louder than the Pro’s (which was my only downside with the Pro’s really). Altough you need to use the 30w adapter for these to power up. Great, massive sound for the price. The subwoofer is small and nice looking, providing more than enough for my small room. I give this product 4.5 out of 5. The RBG lightning is quite ugly (personal taste). It looked better on the pro’s. You can turn RBG off, but it’s still one of these speakers selling points.
