Nice looking, bargain price, 98 key layout (not 108), would buy again.
[black & gray version reviewed here]”Camiysn” wired USB keyboard, grayscale version — 4.5 stars bumped to 5, mainly for looks & low price. No problems so far. Would purchase again.SUMMARY: It’s actually a variant of the MAGEGEE GK-980 gaming keyboard. It appears to be the ‘COLORFUL’ version, and has fewer lighting features than the ‘RGB’ GK-980 variant. There are 5 levels of brightness, plus ‘off’ (no lights). Colors cannot be changed or moved. It looks nice, types well (only a light touch is needed), and is a fairly quiet but not silent wired membrane keyboard. A single, optional light ‘breathing’ mode is available. Keycaps do not light up, nor are they transparent in any way (at least not on this black & gray version).DETAILS:98-key versus 108-key (standard) keyboard: This is a 98-key abbreviated layout, and is 16″ wide, instead of full-size (approx. 17.8″). It does have a numeric keypad (shifted to the left of usual position). Some keys such as Delete, PageUp, and PageDown are in non-standard positions. Some missing keys (ex: Home, End), as well as media & volume control, are accomplished using [FN] + other keys. [FN]+F12 pops up the calculator, which I use often. It’s not full RGB, which I knew when buying. The backlight colors do not change. The lights can be turned on/off (using the ‘sun’ icon key on bottom row). There are 5 levels of brightness, controlled with [FN]+arrow keys, or [FN]+PageUp/Down. There is a single “breathing” light mode that can be turned on via [FN]+[Backspace key], if desired. It’s actually a MAGEGEE brand, and comes in MAGEGEE branded cardboard box with a tiny-print instruction pamphlet showing special Function key commands. The sticker on back says ‘Magegee GK-980’ keyboard, but it differs from the GK-980 on Magegee’s official website; this ‘Camisysn’ version lacks a control knob and dedicated media buttons. For color controls, see the “backlight control (COLORFUL version)” section in the printed instructions. Note: only SOME of the listed functions actually work. The “circulatory” and other listed modes do not work, at least not on my keyboard. [You should ignore the ‘RGB version’ instructions; they are for a different model].Keycaps / Layout: I especially like the handsome, slightly rounded, scooped shape on most of the keys — they are similar in look/style to some Smith-Corona electronic typewriter keys from the 1980s.The ‘Delete’ key is in a non-standard position, one row down from usual spot. The Page Up/Down keys are also in non-standard positions. The up/down/left/right arrow keys are all shifted slightly to the left of their usual positions.Special keys combos: There are no dedicated ‘Home’ and ‘End’ keys, instead, use number pad; [Ctrl]+7 = Home, [Ctrl]+1 = End. Some media & other commands can be accessed using [FN] key + the top row function keys. For example, [FN]+F12 = calculator, and [FN]+F3 = mute. See included instructions for other combos.

Amazing
The keyboard works well. The color is superrr cute. I love using it. The sounds are super nice to listen to, and I like how you can change the colors on the backlights.

Nice keyboard! Takes some getting used to!
Overall a great keyboard! I’m writing this review with it now, and it feels so nice to type on. I mainly use it for gaming, and in doing so, I’ve noticed that I’d often accidentally press the keyboard while resting my thumb on it. It’s not too loud though, and the sound of the keycaps is best described as a “creamy” sound. My only complaints come from personal preferences, but I’ll go ahead and list them for your use.I wish it were a little longer to put a little space between the number keypad and the letters. The spacebar is also a bit louder than the other keys unless you press directly in the center. Also the letters themselves don’t light up, which is an issue if you have reduced vision like me since the letters are a medium grey on a light grey base.Overall 10/10, I’d probably buy this again.

Nice contour on the keys.
This keyboard is a great size for my desk. Not too big, not too small. The white color makes it much easier for me to see the letters on the keys. I really like the gentle contour of the keys and the comfortable feel when typing. Noise wise, fairly quiet. Some reviewers complained about the noise of the space bar, and I will admit, yes, it is much noisier than the rest of the keys, but I don’t find it that terrible. The lighting does not work like the instructions state. Only does brighter, dimmer or off. But I mostly turn it off so I don’t care about that. The reason for only 4 stars is that the keyboard is actually warped. It wobbles when it sets on my desk. I placed a couple of small note pads under one leg and that stabilizes it, but it is disappointing to have to do that to a brand new keyboard. I still like it though.

Awesome
Start with dislikes. Surprisingly none I could even pin point. Features for the lighting on this guy is awesome. I know a lot of people have the lit up keyboards with extra buttons and I’ve been there also. This guy is simple smooth and keys are sensitive. Being slimmed down keys took my some getting used to for about a week but gaming was decent for me since I’m more of a creator/modder. I don’t game like I used to. But it seemed to do the job, and for the mouse, also no issues great all around and for the price.

Lighting resets when undocking
first off, I *do* really like this keyboard 95% of the time. it’s quiet, not clicky, and generally feels like it’s way more expensive than what I paid. however! I got it for work, and my work laptop is usually plugged into a dock, and the keyboard is also plugged into the dock. whenever I undock or close my laptop, the keyboard resets and I lose whatever custom colors I had configured from FN+9. it only takes a minute to fix, but it’s intensely annoying when I’m doing it multiple times a dayupdate, after having the keyboard for ~6 months, the bottom right corner flickers constantly. I have severe photosensitive migraines, and it’s now unusable. save your money.

Perfect!
Love this keyboard. The pink color is adorable and the lights are fun. Unfortunately they make me a little dizzy if I stare at them too long so they stay off.The sounds of the keys is awesome. Very smooth and not clunky. The space bar is way quieter than I was expecting based on the reviews. It’s totally fine and when I get in the groove I can’t even tell that it sounds different. The keys are in slightly different places, which will take a minute to adjust to. But other than that I love it. And very affordable. 10/10 would recommend.

Honestly I think this keyboard has been a great addition to my life it n great and looks great on my desk. The RGB also looks great at night. Its very cool that you are able to customize the caps yourself but you it is not hot swappable for people that what to change the keys, the keyboard was a great purchase and I recommend it to anyone the wants a starter keyboard for work or gaming. Heck im even using it now.

el teclado es muy lindo, la luz tiene diferentes intensidades lo cual em gustó, no es muy ruidoso, solo la tecla del espacio suena mas pero nada muy molesto, se siente de muy buena calidad

It’s cute! BUT as someone who has been using mechanical keyboards almost all the time. After using this membrane keyboard, the typing is OK but bit weird. SPEACIALLY the space bar. IT RATTLES LOUD and its a bit heavy to press on and you sort of need to press closer to the middle to have the space bar work.OTHE THAN THAT, the keycaps are cute lighting meh. This would be ok for office work (which is why i bought) and for light gaming (if ur game requires lots of jumping i dont recommend)OVERALL I’m happy that i have a full size keyboard with number pad and arrows!! (and its white) been wanting something simple for lazy days
