A Surprisingly Impressive Board For The Price
I won’t make this review super in-depth as other reviewers have done an amazing job, but having used this board for over 2 months now, I can confidently say it is an extremely nice one for the price you’re getting it for, especially if you manage to cop it during a sale. While obviously you won’t be getting the greatest quality in the world, for a hall effect magnetic switch board, the 66Pro does a really good job for the cheap price. You get 8000hz polling, good magnetic switches with a surprisingly solid rapid trigger implementation, and a pretty decent look to it as well, all things considered. On top of this, at least to my preferences, the lubed switches and gasket-mounting lead to a genuinely satisfying typing experience that also sounds rather nice. I only really have two or three gripes about it and they’re related more to the software than the board itself, such as not being able to rebound knob functionality, but even those are minor complaints that don’t even warrant serious criticism.Overall, for a much cheaper price than other hall effect boards, the 66Pro is a very solid choice, and I’m beyond impressed with it. If it was $100+, I’d probably give it 3-4 stars, but for getting it at $60, it’s been beyond worth the money.

Good value if you don’t mind no instruction manual
Another reviewer did a comprehensive video review already so I’ll just comment on extras he left out.Pros: Switches are very light but still solid feeling with thock; perfect for gaming. Rapid trigger does indeed work. Great RGB options and adjustability. Relatively low keyboard height with solid build at the price. Mod-tap (multiple key combinations on different travel threshold, for example shift+W for sprinting) and Macros indeed work.Cons: Switches are translucent pink so the RGBs are tinted that shade. Software doesn’t show live actuation graphics. Need to export and import profiles and download to hardware quite often. Overall very janky.

Boyi 66 Pro – Amazing Keyboard
The Boyi 66 Pro is an amazing keyboard especially for its price, featuring things like rapid trigger movement, custom actuation point settings and more.Since I am gonna be using this keyboard a lot for gaming I opted to set the actuation to 0.1mm allowing you to press down way less. The keyboard comes with most features that high end keyboards have only at a lower price.Cool RGB settings, good build quality- feels great/heavy and comes with a few small mods making it sound good.Overall it’s great and I do indeed recommend .

Great keyboard, be wary of swapping key caps.
This is probably THE best keyboard under $100 and one could say it’s better than some of the top brands. You’re getting an amazing software, magnetic switches, and great sound for $60. The only thing is I swapped my RK61 keys onto it and they fit a tiny bit big but they fit. Another thing to add is the ED’S do face North so it may not look appealing straight on but you can swap the switches out and fix that. Overall a 9.9/10 keyboard.

Amazing keyboard for the price, great customer service, works even better w/ Gateron Jades
I love this keyboard so much. There is actually an incredible attention to detail in this board, including a really good job lubing the stabs, rubber plugs around the stabilizers and in the stabilizer gap of the spacebar to help with resonance, and foam padding taped to the inside of the space bar as well. I had some trouble with getting the software to work for me at first but they have been super responsive via email to help me sort stuff out, and I really appreciate that. Their version of snap tap actually works amazing as well, and the rgb is very bright. Typing feel with original switches was great but a bit stiff for me. Replaced w/ Jades and it was a great choice. Now it sounds and feels even better. If you are switching to Jades, just know it might freak your system out at first – it started typing in all caps and upper symbols when I first installed them. Try typing keys while also holding and releasing shift for a little while and this goes away. After you get it to go away the first time and then re-calibrate in the software it works PERFECT with jades. Cannot say enough good things about this board and the customer service. Only minor complaints are that you cannot change what the encoder knob does in the software, and that the switches that it comes with has really tough tabs to push in (I had to use my own switch puller the one they provided fell apart after 5 switches)If you are on the fence, just go for it.

The Boyi 66Pro is a standout 65% mechanical keyboard, offering premium features at a price that won’t break the bank. After spending some time with this keyboard. The keyboard has a sleek and compact 66-key layout, perfect for both gaming and productivity. The gasket-mounted structure provides a softer typing feel, and the build feels solid with minimal flex. I appreciate the attention to detail, such as foam under the spacebar and pre-lubed switches, which contribute to a quieter and smoother typing experience. The south-facing RGB LEDs are vibrant and fully customizable, offering a wide range of effects to suit any setup. The addition of a multifunction knob is a nice touch, allowing for quick volume adjustments and media controlWhat sets the Boyi 66Pro apart is its Hall Effect magnetic switches. These switches allow adjustable actuation points from 0.1mm to 4.0mm, making the keyboard incredibly versatile. Whether you prefer ultra-sensitive keys for gaming or deeper actuation for typing, this keyboard can be fine-tuned to your preference. The 8000Hz polling rate ensures a fast response time, which is a noticeable advantage in competitive gaming scenarios. Additionally, the rapid trigger technology allows for faster key resets, making it ideal for fast-paced games.

LEDs: These are important to me because I always work in the dark. I’m very nitpicky about a lot of things, so I immediately started judging the colors the LEDs produce. The colors are off because the color of the switches are pink, so any color produced with blue or green will have a pink bias. The keycaps that come with the board didn’t work well with the south-facing LEDs, so the light shining through them was dimmer than it should have been. I solved this by changing the keycaps.Switches: I really love the feel and sound of the magnetic switches. I recently switched from blue to red switches, but the reds don’t give me the feedback I need while using a keyboard for anything. Magnetic switches are the perfect middle ground because they provide a unique feedback—when you press them in, they push back more the further you press, which I didn’t even know I would like.Software: The app that comes with this board provides enough customization, I think, but not for the switches. You can change the actuation point on the switches and even set up rapid trigger, but that’s mostly it. For rapid trigger, you can set the range in millimeters for where the rapid trigger strokes occur, or let the board interpret your intentions to press or release. However, you can’t really change much about the actuation points. It’s a single distance that, when crossed, registers as “on,” and when you lift past it, it’s “off.” You can’t set separate points for press and depress. It should be a feature on any software that controls magnetic switches. It’s not as customizable as a SayoDevice.Still, I think this board is good for the price. If you need a magnetic board at a reasonable price, this one is worth it if you can overlook the lighting. Alternatively, you could find a hot-swappable keyboard for cheap and buy the magnetic switches separately OR just get a another board with good red switches.

I bought this recently and for its price it’s a steal. The knob control and RGB features are great. I would definitely recommend it.
