A+ purchase, would buy again
It’s the perfect size, works right out of the box, the lights work perfectly, the pad unfurls and lies mostly flat after giving it a couple of days to settle. Very good cushion to it, easy to operate, the on/off button, which also cycles through color modes, is very subtle and blends well with the overall design. I’m very satisfied with it, it’s a great value, especially for the price.

Several colors to choose from as well as two different brightnesses. Overall I absolutely I love it. also creates nice ambient lighting that can accent pretty much any office. If I had one complaint it would be that the charge port is on the side not the top where it seems like would be more ideal. So you always have a cord coming off the left side of your mouse pad. Even without the use of lights the pad is very smooth and comfortable to use. I got the big one that covers pretty much the whole desk.

Before I bought this BladeHawks Ex. The RGB on that mouse pad is also uneven with the lighting substantially brighter by the control and dimmer at the far end.This BladeHawks pad is SO much better quality and only a couple bucks more. It comes loosely rolled up in a box that protects it. This is the reason it unfurls and lays almost completely flat right out of the box. In my picture you will see a slight ripple at the left end. But I only have had it out of the box for a few hours. I’m confident this will lay flat in a few days as the sewing along the edges is high quality and won’t interfere with the neoprene “unlearning” its rolled up status. Treat it gently, don’t pull or stretch it. Just lay a mic, phone, or weight on the edge and it will learn to lay flat.It is also slightly thicker than the awful Amazon recommendation, which is probably why it is more dimensionally stable. The RGB is fairly even brightness all around, with slightly brighter LEDs at the control, but so much more even that the Amazon recommendation.This is a no brainer. Save yourself the aggravation you will experience with the $10 pad and opt for this one. It’s a bargain at $12.99. It’s 1/5 the price of a name brand large mouse pad from the likes of Corsair and the equal in quality (the only difference being the addressability of the RGB in the Corsair. But do you really need that in a mouse pad?) 5 stars!

Fantastic Mouse Pad, Great Lighting, One Minor Flaw
I’ve purchased a few Blade Hawks products in the past and liked their build quality, so I wanted to give this mousepad a try for my daughter’s computer. The color options are very nice and the lighting is ‘decently’ consistent throughout – although it’s a bit brighter at the on/off switch than the rest of the pad. My pad came mostly uniform and laid fairly flat – had to put a few heavy books on it for a few hours and it’s 99% flat now – with a few very minor ripples that are only noticeable when you get down to eye level on the pad itself. It’s worth the money.Now the flaw – if you read the product page from Blade Hawks, they show a 90-degree micro USB cord since this power button is on the left-hand side…but what comes in the package is a STRAIGHT micro USB cord, meaning the cord sticks out to the left of the pad unnecessarily. Now, if your computer is on the left, it’s probably less of an issue, but if it’s on the right, like my daughter’s is, it sticks out and curves around. If they’re going to supply a straight cord, the plug should come out of the TOP of the connector (on the left-hand side)Now, could I purchase a 90-degree adapter? Sure, but it’s already 1/2 the cost of the actual mousepad…at that rate, I’d be better off buying a different mousepad with the power button at the top.I looked at Blade Hawks support and the ‘Contact Us’ page goes nowhere, doesn’t allow for an email or phone – just blank, so I doubt I’ll be getting a 90-degree adapter anytime soon from them directly…thank goodness it wasn’t that expensive. Just keep that in mind when you purchase this.

Good product. Nicely made and looks and works well. However, do not get it wet, do not clean it, if you do this will happen. This one is a replacement from my original one doing this. Had this brand new one in an indoor climate controlled storage unit for two years and took it out of the box looking like what you see in the video. It’s out of warranty so no RMA on it. So after about a year the lights go dim and it starts showing the dirt pretty well. So I’ll be looking for another brand to buy from. This product does not produce the color orange accept a brief flash of that color when on the flashing mode.

For the price paid, this is a very good product. lighting is not a one line. you can see an intense light at the LED that spreads around. but that’s not an issue for me. the texture of the Pad is very good. i love it and recommend it as a low cost keyboard/mouse pad. it’s safe to say the quality of the product exceeds the price paid.
