Nice Cheap drone
Flies great. Very smooth. The trim was pretty good right out of the box. I’m looking for a practice drone for my REC team and this might just be it.You don’t have to hit a button to take off or land (huge plus in my book). You still can’t turn off the motors by holding the throttle down. And you have to throttle up first to spin the propellers, then release and throttle up again to start flying. As much as I prefer direct throttle control (and no centering spring on the throttle) at least it’s not some random button. And those particular controls are pretty easy to get used to.The durability is a bit questionable. The prop guards only partially guard the prop. This drone is almost exactly like every other drone that seems to have come out of the same mold. The ring around the props provides protection from the sides (and below, but the motors do that too). But there is little to no protection from above. The props should be recessed down in the prop guard ring, but they’re not. It’s just a bad design. This really only matters if you end up upside down… but it happens.This drone has a pretty good heading lock and recenters aggressively. Most people will probably benefit greatly from this feature. And even if you don’t like it, you can get used to it because it’s pretty consistent.In the $25 price range this is my winner (better than the TEMI that drops from the sky “randomly”). If you have $40 to spend I would go with the Q9S (slightly bigger, both smoother and faster somehow – which means I don’t think it will fly like the expensive codrone-edu it is intended to simulate).The “sea Jump 5PCS 3.7V 400mAh Li Battery” (5 for $16 with mulitport charger) here on amazon are also a perfect fit. 2 batteries is far too few. 7 (2+5) is _almost_ non-stop fun.

Good for little kids
It’s a cute toy for little kids. I love the protective plastic built around the drone so when it hits anything, it doesn’t damage it at all, it just bounces right off. We’re still trying to learn all of the controls on the controller to better play with it so it’s not the easiest thing but not super hard either. I’m super nervous about the battery since it’s very sensitive and I don’t want it to break but so far, so good. We fully charged the battery when we first got it before we used it like we were instructed but it didn’t seem to last very long. I’m not sure how long the battery is supppsed to last though. The charger doesn’t tell you if it’s fully charged or not which is frustrating so we just assume once the light goes off that it’s done after a couple of hours. I’m still glad that we got it for my son’s sixth birthday cuz he likes it, just gets frustrated trying to learn how to use it properly to do what he wants it to do. It seems to go off on its own sometimes too even when we don’t push any buttons but maybe we’re doing something wrong. It’s a good toy.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
I ordered this drone and it didn’t work as advertised. No big deal, so I returned it and later went to reorder hoping the second one would work. This one also flew itself. The company issued me a refund 2 months ago for the first drone, and just the other day retroactively charged me saying I sent a different item from my order. The item they claim to have received was a cat toy that was returned separately with no issues. The second drone I sent back, but they are saying I still haven’t shipped it, even though I have tracking info that shows proof of delivery. Shady company. Don’t waste your time.

Blades break easily
Once it is calibrated, and the remote control is learned, it is quite fun and easy to control. On my unit the same blade broke twice making the unit unusable until new blades were ordered. The instructions are very difficult to read. The online manual is better. Replacement blades should be easier to order. Not as loud as other tiny drones which is a plus.
