1. For the beginners, please practice flying drones via sim or betaflight configurator, which can prevent camera from damaged by frequent drops during flight.

3. The frame and props are visible when the camera’s angle is 0°. Adjust it to about 25°, then the frame and props are invisible when flying.
4. This drone is ELRS flight controller version, please pre-check that the protocol version of all devices connect with this drone is the same one, like the transmitter, TX module, etc, so that they can bind together.
5. Please DO NOT change the ESC or Motor settings on the Betaflight configurator, BLHeli Configurator, or Bluejay Configurator, otherwise, the FC will be invalid.
6. Only ELRS 2.4G version supports motor direction set through Betaflight Configurator and SPI Frsky version does not support it. BLHeli Configurator and Bluejay Configurator are invalid for the BB51 ESC (both versions).
7. Cetus X Brushless Quadcopter should work with two 1S batteries. Do not recommend using different brand batteries.

I am new to the FPV hobby and I am so happy I’ve joined at a time when companies like BetaFPV are around with products that enable quick and immediate fun flying with a path to learning Acro! I just love the CETUS X. What a powerful, easy to fly, quality drone. ELRS is the future. Thank you to BetaFPV for an easy on ramp to the best hobby ever! What I love even more is that BetaFPV Support was right by my side when I had challenges with getting my radio and the Cetus X to talk to each other! Not only that, when I had issues with the VTX, they sent me a new one. I’ve read elsewhere that they leave you hanging when/if you have issues with their products. Not my experience at all. If you’re looking for an easy entry into the hobby, on quality products with the right support to get and keep you flying, look no further!! Thank you BetaFPV!

This is a great drone for beginners and fun for veterans of the hobby. It’s very fast for the size and was easy to bind to my remote I already had. I bought a couple different kinds of drones to learn with and this one is by far my favorite.

Great little drone
I will start by saying that I bought this to use with a remote I already had (obviously as the listing is for drone only) and FPV goggles I had from another BetaFPV kit. works great with both. the brushless motors are strong and its very responsive, a little bigger then my other drone but this size is perfect still for flying around the house and heavy enough to handle some outdoor flying.It is worth nothing that I ALMOST returned it as I couldn’t figure out how to connect it to my controller (Radiomaster Zorro 4 in 1 with a nano ELRS module) the bind button didn’t want to put it into bind mode. but I ended up plugging the controller into a PC and running the elrs management tool and setting a binding string, then setting that same string on the drone in Betaflight. Took a long time on youtube to figure it out as I am pretty new to fpv drones and there wasn’t a specific video on the topic. when setting the string also make sure you set the drone and radio to the right frequency so that they will bind up. in betaflight its in the same spot as the name and with EdgeTX (the software on my radio and the BetaFlight Pro radio) frequency can be changed on the profile. but once they were set I turned them both on and they connected like they had been doing it for years.If you are REALLY new I suggest a full kit unless you like to tinker with stuff. But I took the leap and I am glad I did.

Amazing for beginners
I fly larger fpv drones and my children are interested l, however a 11& 13yr old flying larger drones with no experience doesn’t seem safe. This Cetus X is a backyard ripper, took my children to a large soccer field to teach the basics after 20mins they had on goggles and was flying with confidence. If your new this is a good choice. Only downside is after we purchased betafpv release another Cetus for beginners with altitude hold.

It’s fun to fly, but the camera gets hot and the video signal gets lost in mid-flight
I really like flying this drone, but after 4 battery packs the camera gets hot and stops sending the video feed to the goggles which can be really exciting in the middle of a flight! In my opinion, the video feed has a lot of glitches so you really have to pay attention to where you are in your flight, I just fly around on my 1 acre lot and I am getting used to where all of the trees are!! It is a lot of fun, I am new to drones so this is a good starter drone for flying FPV!!

Don’t buy this quad
I bought 2 of these. The first one wouldn’t bind to my LiteRadio 3 elrs transmitter and the second one would hardly work. When Iplugged in the battery only one of the leds would work. I’ve learned something today and that’s to never buy fpv equipment on Amazon :/

Ich hab die Cetus X ELRS Version und die LiteRadio 3 Funkfernsteuerung gekauft.Die Drohne fliegt im Anfänger Modus stabil und lässt sich im Garten gut handeln und üben.Für Indoor finde ich sie zu agil/schnell, was aber mit Sicherheit eine Einstellungssache im betaflight configurator ist.Sie überlebt selbst härtere Stürze, die nicht ausbleiben als Anfänger.Hatte die Firmware aktualisiert, danach hat leider nichts mehr funktioniert. Habe mich dann an den Support gewendet und habe dort auch schnelle und freundliche Hilfe von „Emma“ bekommen.Nun ist sie wieder in der Luft.Klare kaufempfehlung
