Bought this to run VMs on in order to save resources on my dev laptop (which is now 5 years old). It has twice the cores and twice the threads of said top-of-the-line very expensive laptop, at a fraction of the price. All that, and it takes up hardly any space, uses hardly any power, and stays cool with its tiny, quiet, fan. Looks hilarious next to my husband’s giant server, which he’s going to replace with a different tiny box soon. We could have gotten a smaller house if this stuff had been around 13 years ago, though he’d still need room for all those monitors.Unless you’re a gamer and need a separate graphics card, this is a great replacement for a more traditional desktop tower, especially if you’re on a tight budget or work in a small space. (Or live in California and have ridiculous power bills.)

SER8 good PC, fast, silent and low heat generation
The support so far from Beelink has been great. I have not had any problems so far but wanted to mirror the OS disk so I contacted support for info on how best to do that. The PC is a quality build and does not appear to have any bloatware. I haven’t had a chance to fully explore the PC. It is quite and doesn’t generate a bunch of heat like a full size desk would.

It has worked flawlessly so far, booting up in seconds. The fan is barely noticeable, even under higher demand applications. So far, I am very pleased with this mini computer.

Beelink SER5 Pro Mini PC
So far, this Mini PC (AMD Ryzen 7 5700U, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD) is working very well. It came with Windows 11, which is working as well as can be expected. I installed Ubuntu 23.10 along side Windows, and Ubuntu is working great. Beelink recommended Linux 6.4+, so I didn’t try Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. I have used WiFi, Bluetooth, and the Display Port on Ubuntu with no problems. I had a few minor issues with some of the apps I loaded on Ubuntu. However, these issues were all related to Ubuntu, not the Mini PC, and I was able to resolve all of them within a coupe of days.I have not used the PC for video editing yet, so I cannot comment on the performance compared to my older PC. Also, I have only been using the Mini PC for about a week, so I cannot comment on the long-term reliability. Did I mention the great price?

Nothing but trouble
I had this delivered and after 8 hours this mini computer kept looping and never updated. when powered off and restarted the loop continued for 2 hours.I can not wait 2 hours everytime I start this thing.I orderd a replacement and waiting for 2 days Amazon tells me now that they changed the delivery time for another 3 weeks. They said a 2 day delivery time originally.Nothing but trioble.And I e-mailed Bee Link and did what they said. Waste of time.

Just got it so I can’t give a proper review.
Very brief ‘review’. It works. I like it. Doesn’t take up space. Now the negatives. Amazon sent it to me a week early. There were reasons why I wanted it delivered a week from now. No matter, I received it, it wasn’t stolen, so cool. I ordered the Linux Ubuntu version of this Beelink mini PC. I got the Windows 11 Pro version instead. No matter, I’ll give it a whirl. Otherwise, I’m happy with the purchase so far. It’s easy enough to install Linux on it myself but I’ll give Windows 11 Pro a try.

Excelente desempeño, silencioso, no se calienta. con la capcidad de 32gb RAM y 1Tb. Cambié el SDD de 1Tb a 2Tb, instalé en una partición de 500gb Windows (solo experimental para mi), y en 1.5Tb Linux Ubuntu que es el sistema base que yo utilizo. Excelente desempeño para un costo muy accesible. De acuerdo a las necesidades de almacanamiento y procesamiento pueden optar por menos RAM y menos capcidad SDD. Muy recomendable!!!!
