Seems to be working great!
So the symptoms that my camera had was it would work sometimes and not others. Would work for a few seconds then blink out and tell me to contact the dealership. Found this camera on here and decided to give it a shot. To change out, you have to take the cover off the inside of the trunk with 5 or 6 little black push clips, 4 little nuts inside the trunk holes, two little white push type clips need loosened as well. 3 nuts on each of the back up tail light housings (need to remove them) then it should remove the cover on the outside. Really its pretty simple, took a half hour. Search for a video.So far the camera quality actually seems better than the old one. The video is a little darker, and the lines it draws are a bit different but i’m sure i’ll get used to it. It sure beats not having one, thats for sure.I wish I would have replaced this a few years ago when the camera first started blinking out. If i’d have known it was this cheap and this easy I would have for sure.Well worth the 50’ish bucks it cost and the half hour out of your day

Works Like Factory Camera With One Exception
The image quality seems to be the same, the activation and deactivation behave similarly when shifting, the guidelines all appear, but the colored park assist guidelines are slightly narrower than factory. Therefore, you can end up getting closer to/over a stripe/driveway edge, etc when just relying on the guidelines. Bottom line: You still need to use your mirrors to ensure you’re centered.

Third time is the charm (update)
Had to purchase this camera after replacing the factory camera on my Ford Fusion with a different aftermarket brand camera which failed due to the lack of waterproofing on an advertised waterproof unit.Unfortunately, the factory cameras for this model are very prone to failure and are a common issue amongst Ford Fusion owners of this model generation.The first of this specific camera previously purched lasted long enough for me to return the previously failed replacement. I decided to give this brand a second chance due to how closely this matched the factory camera image and clarity for the 15 minutes of installed use I got out of it.This replacement is installed, dielectric grease applied and even wrapped the connector from the base of the wire housing up to the body of the camera unitSo far, no flaws, glitches, or regrets for giving this product a second chance. Good job, I think I just got unlucky with a defective unit.Update 1/29/2024Less than 30 days after proper installation, this replacement of the replacement unit is also dead.Does this company.ake any of these that last longer than a month?

Exact replacement for 2013 Fusion
My 2013 Ford Fusions backup camera has been working off and on for over a month. When it is was not working a message came on the screen saying see the dealer so I dropped the car off at the dealer. Dealer calls back the next day to say the camera is bad and the cost for camera and labor is $1,000 AND the camera is on a nationwide backorder so I said no thanks and went to pick up the car. I paid $140 for the diagnostics but at least that pointed to the camera and not wiring or the Ford Sync system. When I got back home I checked on Amazon and found this camera and read the reviews. I liked what I read and for just under $60bought it. I saw a video on how to install it. It took a total of less than 40 minutes to take off trunk liner, remove outer tail lights and trim cover to get to the camera. I unplugged the old camera and plugged this new one in and I was very surprised at the quality of the video. It even has the lines like the original one did. No programming was necessary, just unplug the old camera and plug in the new one.Can’t beat the 12 month warranty too. I am so happy I found this camera on Amazon and saved $1,000.

The camera shows the proper distance lines when your foot is on the brake. If you turn the wheel with your foot on the brake and turn the steering wheel, the camera displays the correct curved trajectory. Once you take your foot off the brake, the distance line fade to almost nothing and it always displays backing out to the left no matter whether you are going straight, right or left. Will be returning this as defective.
