Retired my gpx superlight.
Honestly, amazing mouse! I thought the superlight was going to be my favorite mouse for quite a while, but I was wrong. After using the R3, I haven’t looked back. The stock skates are great. It tracks as well as any other mouse, and the coating they used feels great to hold/touch. It did come with grip tape and dot skates which is a nice touch, but neither are my preference so I haven’t used them.

You get what you pay for
After less than a week, getting double clicks on the right click of all things. There was also some sort of bug that caused the windows speech recognition window to randomly open at times in-game. Ended up crashing the game and freezing my keyboard. Happened 2 or 3 times and I had to restart my computer to fix it.These are things that should literally never happen at any price point. While I did enjoy the shape, weight, and magnesium material, I cannot recommend this mouse if it can’t at a minimum be relied on to functionally work.

Mouse started randomly double clicking EDIT: customer support fixed issue.
After about a month and a half of use the mouse started randomly double clicking on a single click. Cleaning it with contact cleaner and compressed air gets it to work for a couple days but it always starts doing it again. This makes it basically unusable which is really disappointing because it’s an amazing mouse when it works. Can’t recommend it though.EDIT: Customer support showed me how to fix the double clicking in the driver software. You go to “Other Setting” in the mouse tab and lower key sensitivity to around -7. Now the mouse works perfectly. So it goes from a 1 to a 4 star.I’d also like to add that you should buy glass mouse feet for it because it dramatically improves the experience.

I gave this mouse as a Christmas gift last year for my husband and he loved it! He was extremely pleased with how responsive this mouse is on the screen.We will be buying more of these for all of our computers in the future.

Horrible quality, will break
The first one I got broke after 4 months and had issues with the inputs not holding down, got sent a second mouse for replacement and it came with a double click issue that can’t be fixed.

I had a rare issue with this mouse. However the seller was quick to reply and sent me a replacement free of charge. Props to them for that.The mouse itself is grrat for the price. Super light weight with good build quality and crisp buttons. Definitely recommend it for this price compared to other mice in this range.

The R3 is a perfect entry point into the magnesium mouse crowd. The lightweight material really makes it feel like the mouse IS your hand as it moves so easily with it. this combined with the high precision tracking makes for a strong competitor in the lightweight market.As a fingertip grip user I feel the R3 fits me very well, as it’s shell sits a little bit lower than others so i can get a proper uninterrupted grip. Mouse buttons 1, 2, 4, 5 feel super snappy and responsive, though middle click or mouse 3 doesn’t have much travel and as a result is a bit hard to click without scrolling, which might be a downside for gaming.In my case, I have let the R3 run until it is out of battery and I get at least 15-20 hours from it, charging only once or twice a week which is very nice considering the size of the battery.The only other issue that I have with the R3 is that you will have to change settings through QMK, which I am unfamiliar with and could not get to work. I would have liked to have seen better software support through the likes of a web app, software download, or something else of the sort.Overall, the Attack Shark R3 is a great mouse for being a magnesium build at this price.
