Excellent portable display
I needed a second screen for my work laptop that I could also fly with. This fits the bill perfectly and has a good picture quality, and I even use it as a secondary display for my gaming laptop. Keep in mind that the max resolution is 1920 x 1080, so you should pick a different model if you want higher resolution than that, but I was going for price first and foremost.My only “gripe” is that the default USB-C cable it comes with for plugging into a power outlet is ridiculously short, but any good quality USB-C cable can replace it, so no big deal there.

Best portable monitor!
I did a lot of research on portable monitor and this one stand out the most since it’s very light, portable, great quality and most importantly it has built in battery!! Only downside of this monitor is the high price (I waited to go on sale) and sound quality, it’s not a big issue but for those who really care about the sound I recommend plugging in the headset to the monitor it makes a huge difference! Besides that this monitor is great! I use it for my ps5 and Nintendo switch! Works great on both! It made me thought that I made the right purchase! Highly recommend it!

Great Monitor
This is actually my first review and I’m adding just a slight warning.First off for a mobile monitor I wasn’t sure what to expect but this did a phenomenal job. Color, resolution, and refresh were spot on.The bad: the screen is easy to damage. I had the monitor and my laptop in the same bag (nothing else) and when I took the monitor out the screen was damaged (see image). My laptop (ROG Zephyr) is not heavy and just about as thin as the monitor so I didnt expect anything to happen.My recommendation: if you get this monitor make sure you get a glass screen protector especially if you’re going to be mobile with it, that way if something touches the screen you dont end up like me and out $500. Asus’s warranty does not cover accidents by the user

DO NOT BUY! waste of time and money
built a whole set up in bed around this monitor it feels very cheep and flimsy i had issues with it randomly turning off then it stopped turning on all together read the other reviews dont buy this i cant belive they would continue selling such a bad product knowing how awful it is update on this review i sent it back to asus to fix they told me i had damaged the product and i would have to pay to fix it then they sent it back to me even more damaged then they even said it was i have been dealing with asus for about two months now my case is still getting “escalated” do not give asus your money

Best portable screen I’ve ever seen!
This is easily the best portable screen I’ve ever seen! It has a built in battery, supports up to 240hz, 1080P, dual front facing speakers, iPad like smart cover, the back has a camera thread mount.The best part of having the battery is you do not have to plug it into anything besides HDMI for short play sessions, and when it does come time to charge it, plug in a type C cable to your console/pc to charge it without the need for another power supple cord!The sound this puts out is very impressive for its size!The colors and brightness are excellent, along with excellent viewing angles from the IPS display. There appear to be zero hot spots on the panel (usually from the bezels pressing on the display) which is impressive, every screen I’ve had in recent times has had these hot spots, they drive me nuts!Very well packaged , and feels like a quality product, I love the ROG symbol on the back that lights up when its in use, really like the all aluminum build. The price is high, but your getting what you pay for, if you want the best portable display around from a company you know and trust, you have found it.

The menu is a pain and the speakers are junk.
So over all this has been a pretty nice experience, but I’ve a few issueswhen it comes to devices like this with these kinds of price points, overall the picture is fairly nice I have used it mostly as a monitor for my switch, but have had it setup as a second monitor at my desktop as well, I can’t seem to access the menu options if you turn it on and it can’t find a signal it just shuts itself off before you can adjust any settings weather the battery is charged or having it plugged in, the speakers are really bad I’ve to keep mine between 50-85% or it’s hard to make out or starts getting really static above 85, the 3.5 head phone jack is not the best it only seems recognize my headphones after I play with it for 20mins, tbh these are the type of issues you would’ve expected to find on a cheaper brand or lower end product not a big name Asus product, if you just need a fast refresh rate 1080p monitor that you can take on the go with a decent picture this can get it done, but if you want decent sound or your head phones to work properly…you could get a decent picture on a much cheaper product that might actually have features that work, so value for money at these price points they should reconsider using such cheap speakers and ui options, and focus on a more quality product

Works great. Beautiful picture. The USBC port does not work on my 2016 model iMac (I don’t think there is an iMac driver from ASUS yet), but the miniHDMI port works with it fine. Cool that this monitor has battery and separate power supply so it basically can be a monitor for my PS Vita TV or Switch. Speaker sound is surprisingly good for the small size. The folding cover/stand works fine but looks unstable. Overall quite happy with this. Wish there was a carry case that was cheaper then the one they offer in the combo package.

The listing clearly states in the Style Name section: “(tripod included)”.I did not receive the tripod.This is actually incredibly frustrating. Not only because I have not received what was clearly advertised, but now the monitor is far too low with the default stand that is included, and it causes me a lot of discomfort having it so low.The only reason I went for this more expensive monitor is because I thought I would be receiving the tripod (as advertised) so I can have the screen more closer to eye level, and that is just not what has been delivered.Very, very annoyed. I have just been completely lied to and mis sold a product that does not, and has not come with all its promised components.
