A lot of tech for $100
I own the wired Keris (3389 version) and love it although I thought it was a bit overpriced at the time (bought it for $70). When the Keris Aimpoint was announced, I was excited to get hold of a copy and try it out. So far, I have really enjoyed my time with it.Pros-Tuned 3395 sensor.-Push-Fit Switch Socket II which allows you to swap out your 3 pin mehcanical switches without soldering. It can also take 5-pin optical switches.-Extra set of switches (Japanese Omron).-Easy access to the internals, no need to take the skates off.-PBT MB 1/2.-Extra set of skates that, for stock skates, offer a very good glide.-Stylish grips.-Fits my hand well (8.5″ x 3.5″). I can comfortably use claw grip with the Keris AP.-No creaking when squeezed or rattling when shaken.-Good weight (75g). Doesn’t feel heavy although I prefer mice in the 60-70g range.-Improved side buttons from the previous version. Buttons protrude a bit more which is a plus.-Steps on the scroll wheel feel nice and is relatively quiet when scrolling quickly.-Battery life. My first 2 days (about 8hrs/day) with the mouse saw only a 6% drop in battery life. Charges quick, too.-Included cable is nice (USB Type C). A little too stiff for my liking, but since I’ll only use it for charging the Keris, it’s not a big deal.-Dongle adapter is without a doubt the nicest I’ve seen. It’s very well made and comes with a metal clip.-Tri-Mode connectivity (wireless, bluetooth, and wired).Cons-Only 1k polling rate. For the price, it would have been nice to have at least 2k. The Chakram X and Origin both have 8k polling rate with the same sensor so I’m not sure why Asus opted for 1k with the Keris AP and Gladius III. Final thoughts:For $100 you do get a lot of tech. Push-Fit sockets effectively give the Keris AP an indefinite lifespan. Having the ability to bounce between mechanical and optical switches is a huge plus and adds a certain personal feel to the mouse. I opted to put a set of Huano blue shell/pink dots and am very satisfied. While I thought the wired Keris (3389 version) was overpriced, the Keris AP is definitely not. Definitely worth the price and the best mouse in the AP lineup. $160 for the Chakram X is ridiculous unless you’re willing to pay an extra $60 for 8K polling rate and wireless charging. I can’t give the Keris AP 5 stars because I feel it should have come with a higher polling rate than 1k, but I don’t feel it’s enough to take a whole star off. 4.5 stars for me. Thanks for taking the time to read my review.

    Great functionality
Great mouse. Wired, wireless/bluetooth, had RGB, smooth and great responsiveness. Able to change the DPI.

Incredible Mouse that is laser accurate even in wireless mode.
This is a great mouse and I am honestly torn between the Keris II Ace and the Chakram X Origin mouse. The Chakram X Origin is much bigger and fits my hand perfectly, the Keris II Ace is a bit smaller, but far lighter than the Chakram X Origin. Both perform fantastically and both just glide on the mouse pad (The Keris II Ace more so than the Chakram X Origin!), but where the Keris II Ace beats the Chakram X Origin is being able to use the Keris II Ace in wireless mode with above 4000hz polling rate. The Chakram X Origin only goes up to 1000hz polling rate in wireless mode.If you’re primarily using your mouse in wireless mode, definitely get the Keris II Ace, as it has up to 8000hz in both wired and wireless mode. The only real downside is that the polling booster is pretty chunky, and may overtake another USB port on your motherboard or laptop.

    Long Battery Life
Very nice mouse that can be used wired, 2.4 ghz, or Bluetooth. I haven’t tried it on BT, but I primarily use it wireless 2.4 and wired. What I can say, is the battery life is amazing. I lose 4% battery per day using it constantly and that’s with the leds on.Tracking, and polling seems flawless. Very high dpi setting customization. The mouse comes with replaceable switches which you can swap out yourself. Personally, I like the feel of the switches that come installed. So far, so good with the mouse. I would certainly buy it again.

    Really Nice Mouse
The best thing about this mouse is that it has internal memory, which allows you to save the scroll wheel direction on any device. Some mice lack dedicated memory, which means that if you cannot run the software on a certain device, you will not have the same scroll wheel settings. This mouse, on the other hand, saves the settings directly to the mouse, so that no matter what device you use, the settings will be the same. There is one peculiarity with this mouse, however. When you open the box, you will find the USB OMNI Receiver under the mouse in a slot. Immediately remove this, plug it into your PC, and put your mouse in wireless mode to connect to the receiver. If you do not do this, the receiver will give you an error under devices in Armoury Crate, and you will not be able to update the mouse. You must “activate” the receiver by connecting it to the mouse initially. On a previous purchase, I had bought the Falchion Low Profile and the Keris II mouse and immediately connected the Keris II mouse to the Falchion Low Profile OMNI Receiver to run both devices off one USB. I did not connect the Keris II mouse to its own receiver first. In doing this, I never activated the Keris II OMNI Receiver and lost it forever. Every time I try to click it in Armoury Crate, I get an error. This will not happen, however, if you connect the Keris II mouse wirelessly to its OMNI Receiver first.

    actually works
i didn’t know if the bump was going to improve anything but it does for my hand. i use my palm and my hand is rather large, tho not nba sized, and using this over the ambidextrous type mouses like the superlight feels so much better. good job ROG

    Quality hardware and software!
Love the customization through the app, I use one profile with the default buttons and another profile for quiet use by using the scroll wheel up and down for the left and right click. The mouse grips are a nice addition making it look cool and feel better in the hands. Love how it was it’s own switch for wired, USB receiver, and Bluetooth connecting so I can easily switch between 3 different devices with one simple switch. Only 4 stars because it didn’t have much space for my pinky finger so I’ll get a different rog mouse that has that extra space to support it.

  8. Offspace

De verdad no imaginé que fuera tan pero tan ligeo y cómodo. El cable es extremadamente suave y se agradece. Su dongle es compatible con el teclado Azoth, de modo que solo con un dongle conecto teclado y mouse.

  9. Cardan

    Cumple con su funcionalidad.

This mouse single handily destroyed my expectations. I didn’t really think it was going to be such an awesome daily driver it’s not too big nor is it comically small it’s just the goldy locks of size for me. The scroll wheel feels fantastic and responsive both the button and the wheel itself, the switches are hot swapable and it comes with a housing for the wifi dongle. It comes with back up skates and the vanilla skates just glides on my new mouse pad effortlessly. I love this mouse I really have no hangups which is quite rare, for the price it’s a great mouse.
