Powerhouse in Gaming
It works really well at doing whatever you need it to do, and you can add an extra nvme drive inside the laptop. You also can run pretty much any game at max settings, play bluestacks (admin privs) and emulators no problem.The sound on this laptop without headphones suck, but the video quality is really nice. I keep my laptop elevated on a laptop stand so I don’t really worry about any heat issues. Overall I have no issues with this laptop.

Lasted less then a month
Recently purchased this and have had nothing but issues. When it was running it was slow. The past few days it’s been blue screening with a “”Acer driver verifier DMA violation” error message. I got it to run and tried a factory reset but it failed somehow. Then it bluescreened with “Driver power state failure” error message. Now it’s stuck on the sign in because my PIN is somehow lost, the app that resets the PIN is broken, and the fingerprint reader stopped registering anything. I bought this brand new less then one month prior to writing this and the ACER website says it’s out of warranty somehow and does not offer any help.Avoid this machine

A great powerhouse of a laptop!
This thing is a surprising amount of power packed into a relatively thin frame. It can handle every game I throw at it and then some… Not to mention running some local AI models with all of thag glorious VRAM.Only caveats: the speakers are a bit weak (I use headphones normally anyways) and I’ve had recurrent issues with the wifi/Bluetooth adapters (nothing a quick driver reinstall can’t fix even at its worst).Everything else works flawlessly!

Assume computer. Arrive on time and in flawless condition. I am using it for movie making using Cut Clip software. Super-fast running the Cut Clip software. Screen is sharp and crystal clear. Others had commented that the sound quality was not the best. I would have to disagree; the sound is perfect. Thanks.

Not a desktop replacement.
I replaced my desktop with this as i travel for work a ton. well coming from a 1080ti to a 3080ti i thought it was be a massive increase in my whole existence. tbh it wasnt. laptop runs very loud and hot when gaming. if you need something small and portable it is a solid laptop for sure and ive been playing everything just fine. it auto sets everything to the highest settings but i usually try and turn stuff down to keep my laptop from combusting.

I got the i9-12900H / 3080TI version with the bag (in case the listing changes)Beautiful display, the single game I installed on it (Destiny 2) played great, but besides the issue where it would instantly shut off for no reason, there were some things I didn’t like about it.The charging port is in the middle of the left hand side, with a 90 degree angle plug, meaning the cable either blocks your usb ports, or one of the fan exhausts (not a huge issue though, most air flow is through the back).The keyboard gets fairly hot on the right side, so I manually upped the fan speed instead of letting the predator software handle it. It wouldn’t get overly hot during gaming because the “Turbo” mode would ramp up the fan speeds, but because the fans are all towards the back it stays pretty warm (though it’s a laptop, it’s expected to be really warm)I didn’t like it switching between intel and nvidia graphics for display output, it would resize my windows and make the text small until I moved the windows again. Nice power saving feature but more of an annoyance to me.The main reason I returned it was due to the laptop shutting off, sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after several hours. I don’t believe it shut off at all while I was playing Destiny 2, though I only tried it a few short times, so I may have just been lucky. I tried rolling back drivers and entirely resetting windows, but I wasn’t willing to try anything else (like updating bios or re-seating ram) and it’s probably a hardware issue anyways, so support told me to just return it.

I needed a reasonably priced computer for gaming. This fit the bill for me. I have used it for almost a year and have had no issues.
