Great Computer for CAD/CAM and CNC
I am not a gamer, I needed a higher power, lower cost, PC to run AutoCAD Fusion 360 and my Centroid Acorn CNC software. The requirements for both are much the same. I read many reviews and watched many YouTubes about this model before buying it.Upon receiving it,I found it to be quick and quiet and ran my CAD/CAM softwares without a problem.Recommended

Best price for what you get, plays games well in 1080
I bought this to be a 1080 gaming rig and also bought a 120hz monitor to go with it. I have played world of Warcraft, Diablo 4 and final fantasy XIV on high settings with no problems. Temps are within normal range and I’m playing it on balanced power settings. You should get a better mouse for this pc, the one it comes though works but feels cheap. There is an extra m.2 drive in it and it came with cables to connect a ssd ad well which I did both with no problems. So far I’m happy.

    Didn’t work when plugged in.
As soon as I plugged it in it made beeping sounds. I tried to get it replaced with the seller, no luck.

    Nice upgrade.
My gaming computer celebrated its 12th birthday recently and informed me that it was ready to retire. I have had a Nitro 5 laptop for a couple of years and have been impressed with it, so when a decent deal showed up on Prime day I bought the Nitro 50. It runs MSFS20, TSW5 and most of my older games. And runs them well, I loaded one of the original Railworks routes in Train Simulator Classic and had frame rates in triple digits. Newer, denser routes still had decent frame rates, but everything ran smoothly without any lagging. Other than the differences between Win10 and Win11, the changeover has been smooth and setup was easy. So far I like it.

    Does a great job!
This is the first ‘store bought’, pc that I’ve bought in 40 years. Simply put, I couldn’t build a pc with these specs for the price Acer sells it for. The only mod that I might do is up the ram from 16G to 32G. This thig just works great. I’m coming from an AMD FX 4.2ghz rig that I built in 2016. It never missed a beat on win10, but it was time to give the old one up. I’m still getting used to the intel CPU throttling, but what a PC for the money!

    Not For Upgrading
Cpu cooler is bad but the pc is good value for the discount, also it is very difficult if you want to upgrade it since the specs are propierty

Solid cable management, good components for HTCP and 1080P gaming, but still has some issues
Pros:1. Comes with the latest generation CPU and graphics card, and while not powerful, is efficient. The system only draws 51.3W from the wall when idle, and draws 183W during peak load.2. Temperature for the CPU didn’t go above 65C, and for the GPU didn’t go above 60C.3. The power supply is great (650W 80-Plus Gold).4. Solid cable management.5. Great DDR5 memory, but see below.6. Micro-ATX form factor motherboard and computer case.Cons:1. The WiFi card is outdated (released in Q4 2017).2. It comes with a single stick of DDR5 memory, so the computer will only operate in single channel mode, not dual channel mode.3. The BIOS has the memory set at AUTO instead of XMP, so the memory will run at 4800MHz instead of 6000MHz, and slower timings. Most people who purchase this computer won’t know what that means, or how to change it.4. The NVMe SSD is just okay compared to the other components, but it doesn’t come with a heatsink. The temperatures went up to 70C during testing.5. There are no top-mounted case fans to help exhaust heat out of the computer case, just one case fan at the rear of the case. Opening the computer case up, I could definitely feel the area inside of the case being warm.Neutral:1. Comes with an activated Windows 11 Home Operating System, but also comes with programs pre-installed that some people may not want.2. The BIOS also has the Mouse Speed at 2x instead of 1X. It won’t matter for those that like faster mouse speeds, but thought I’d point that out.3. It comes with a basic keyboard and mouse, but with RGB lighting. It doesn’t come with a mouse pad. The keyboard has the Windows key on the right side, and the FN key on the left side. Every keyboard I’ve ever owned had the Windows key on the left side, and the FN key on the right side.

Gift for My Brother, so far he’s happy!
I got this for my brother in his late 20s as a bday/Christmas combo gift. He wanted a computer for Microsoft office and occasional throwback gaming. Set up was easy, and it runs just fine! He isn’t a huge computer geek, but it checks his boxes with a little added firepower. The only thing that wasn’t clear to me is that the graphics card only supports a single HDMI port, with several additional DisplayPorts, so keep that in mind if you’re looking to run multiple monitors.

It is one thing to see this Acer Nitro 60 as a piece of beautiful electronic hardware, setting the focal point of your gaming or office hub. But when you start using it to perform multi tasking work functions, or multi player or high capacity single player games, you get a whole nother level of quality and performance. The casing is absolutely gorgeous. Bringing a startrek-ish vision, into reality. And presenting a clear glass window into the interior facets of the tower. Showing of the amazing quality workmanship that goes into this computer. From meticulously tied wiring, multi coloured, backlit cooling fans, and the well placed and solidly designed cpu and hardware inside. It shows off the heart and soul of this machine. Then it becomes near mesmerizing. As it boots up and with almost inaudible sounds when pressing your ear to it, you watch the selectable colour changing fans kick in. And as you finally look away to your monitor, you begin to experience more than just a pretty face! This Acer is well named. Because as pretty as it is to look at, it has some serious fuel for whatever task you need it to do. And absolutely kicks butt in the game field. As the realtek 8821ce wireless LAN pre installed fires up, and you begin loading your personal details onto the included windows 11, you get set up in minutes. And installed onto either 2.4 or 5g, it is lightning fast on even troubled, weak wireless wifi. So much so, that my son has commandeered it to play online with multi player games. And as an experienced player in his mid 20’s, he is absolutely floored by the performance of this computer. Both in its overall appearance. And it’s incredible performance that outperforms his Alienware laptop of the same value. As he says “by far”.And while I am using it for simple work tasks, I have no issues with using multi screen project formats, graphics for blueprint and high Rez project design. Going between pages and tools is so fast and without any lag or hesitation at all. And the SSD storage is a huge and efficient capacity. Allowing for an abundance of installation of whatever programs and functional tools I need. And while my honest opinion is limited as far as the technical data and specs. I can honestly say that practically, after years of using various computers for work and play over the years, this is by far, the best performing home unit I’ve had yet. And is even more cosmetically appealing than my custom startrek cabinet that cost significantly more to assemble, than this one already outfitted with premium hardware. Totally impressed and would highly recommend for any home office or game center setup.

TL;DRQUALITY: (5/5)VALUE: (5/5)EASE OF USE: (5/5)MET EXPECTATIONS: (5/5)THOUGHTS:I’ve been searching for a replacement for my gaming laptop, and this one has been absolutely perfect! As someone who plays a lot of indie games and does game development, this computer has exceeded all my expectations. The 1TB of storage is a massive upgrade from the 0.5TB I’m used to, giving me plenty of room for game assets, projects, videos, and games—with tons of space to spare. The RGB lighting adds such a cool touch, and I’ve even gotten compliments on it. Setup was super easy, which I really appreciated since I’m not particularly tech-savvy. It comes with Windows 11, which I personally love, and it handles long hours of use with multiple programs running effortlessly—no overheating issues whatsoever.Overall, I think it’s very reasonably priced for what it offers, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Highly recommended!

This gaming computer comes with the latest i5 core, 14400F. It is a very fast processor. Although the computer only have 16GB ram but it is DDR5. The graphics card is excellent, a RTX 4060!!! This is much newer and more advanced and capable than my current GTX 1660. This gaming computer also comes with a gaming mouse and a gaming keyboard, the combo that have RGB lighting on them. This is absolutely fantastic!!!
