AMD FreeSync™ keeps the monitor and the graphics card refresh rate in sync, and reduces image tearing for seamless, smooth scenes. Eye Saver Mode minimizes blue light and reduces eye strain, enabling extended periods of game play.
¹”1ms” means one millisecond which is the range of avg. response time between 1.00ms to 1.99ms truncated to whole number. Based on MPRT measured under internal test conditions. Results may vary by content and monitor settings (requires ‘Extreme mode’ setting). MPRT(Moving Picture Response Time) measures the time taken for a pixel to transition from one image frame to another (motion blur measurement).

Works great!
Love this monitor, the size is incredible and the display is PERFECTION. Zero issues with installing, response rate and color are optimal, sharpness and brightness easy to adjust… and excellent for keeping up with gaming. No lag!

Very nice, especially for $270
Took just a little setup to make the text look good, mostly just turning down the sharpness (counter-intuitive, I know). Also, the description says this monitor has a glossy finish on the screen. That is incorrect. It *does* have a very glossy film on it, to protect the surface during shipping, but once you peel it off, the screen is a pleasing matte finish, no glare, no reflections. The “joystick” button on the bottom takes a little getting used to, but once you use it a little, it’s very easy. There was a notice that the brightness was deliberately set low, to save the environment, but you can, obviously, turn it up.The one real complaint was the instructions included. They were far from clear, and would have benefitted from some text. Or a QR code that didn’t try to take me to instructions for a TV. There were several very cryptic graphics, on both the “instructions” and on this paper “ring” around the top of the base, seemingly promising dire consequences if you do….something.It’s heavy! The base of the stand is sturdy, solid metal, very beefy. Ditto for the arm. The monitor itself is also heavy. Doesn’t matter all that much, as most people don’t move their monitors around much. The adjustability of the stand is amazing. I was concerned about how tall this monitor might be, but it turned out to be a non-issue.

Great ultrawide monitor if you can get it under $400
Overall I’m a lot happier with this than an old 4k tv from walmart. Only complaints I have were the lackluster HDR, which I expected only being HDR10, and the color, which was a super easy fix. I just changed was color, I changed it to Cool 2 and set blue to 70 and it looks perfect now. No dead pixels or cracks to speak of, just some scratches on the frame from being a clutz installing it.Unlike what the other reviews say, the power LED can be turned off while the monitor is off, by going into system and scrolling all the way down, it shows “Power LED On”, and set it to “Working,” this will let the LED turn off while the monitor is off. Great for someone who has their computer in their room and likes it nice and dark while they sleep.Going from 60hz to 165 was a massive difference for me, it felt like the image was clearer sooner after moving. The curve isn’t too much, but 1500r would have been nice. I haven’t used it for any FPS games, because I have this installed on a monitor arm on my sim racing rig, but I imagine the experience would be great. As for racing, I think 21:9 is better as it’s a more efficient use of screen space. How often do you look at the roof and dashboard of your car while driving? I don’t look much personally, so I thought I would get rid of the unused space and get my monitor closer to the top of the wheel so it feels more immersive, but also keep a wider FOV to see more on the track.I bought this because it ticked all of my boxes; ultrawide, >100 PPI, IPS, >144hz, 1ms response time, and a nice curve. I would say if you can get it under $400 to go and snag one.

Great monitor, bad calibration
I bought this monitor after looking trough a lot of research and comparations, in the end i decided for this one due to its price and spec, almost a blind buy since i couldn’t find any other reviews outside the amazon website, but i have to say im very happy with it.Overall, the monitor has a very steady structure, i love that you can adjust inclination and angle of the screen, It feels steady and strong, so im pretty sure it’s not going to break no matter how much you move it. Perfect for watching movies when you’re laying in your reclined seat.As for the screen, the colors are vibrant, bright and very beautiful. I don’t know a lot about HDR, but having it on in this monitor feels like a dream. I had never played a videogame with HDR on so i was impressed very much when i tried one. It’s just so much better than not having it on (on some games only, it really depends on how much effort the devs put on the feature of the game).I love this monitor, and i really would love to put a 5 star rate on it if it wasn’t for two major flats it has.For some reason, having the adaptative sync off appears to completely destroy the color balance and makes the colors look very saturated. Whites look burnt out and blacks look grayish, more than what is usual on an ips panel. It’s a very big issue since not all the games play well while having it on, and sometimes it causes some imput lag that isnt normal when having native Vsync activated. On top of that, it has some VERY bad default calibration settings. i spent nearly 2 hours adjusting them and i had to go trough a lot of tools and articles online to finally find the perfect settings. I know this can happen when you have outdated gpu drivers, and i think that was part of the reasons why i had this problem ( i had to completely reinstall all the graphics drivers ion my pc and after doing it fixing the problem was a lot easier) so don’t put a lot of importance on this one since it could’ve been my pc and not really the monitor, but do consider you might have to adjust the settings at the very least a little when you first install it. However, if you don’t mind touching it a bit to get the colors right or you dont game at all, this monitor is Perfect for you and it’s a 100% worth it, especially on discount.

Great monitor!! Can’t complain at all after 7 months. And for the discount I got it for, I wish I would have bought 2.

Al principio con la configuración de fábrica no me gustó, pero es cuestión de saberlo configurar inclusive detecta los juegos en HDR y se ven muy bien, para eso se desactiva el free sync, al contrario para juegos competitivos sin HDR con Free sync vuela

WOW!This monitor has succeeded my expectations, I was nervous after seeing some of these reviews. But let me tell you. Once you get this monitor you will never be able to go back to a 32inch or less.I bought this monitor to be my main monitor for streaming/playing games as I wanted that extended view.First off, I love that Its 165hz. I have the option to go less as well but as my computer can handle this I have it set to the 165hz.The colors are bright and vibrant. I am using the Freesync and I see absolutely no tearing in games of any kind. Motion blur isn’t a problem either. The screen Brightness is perfect and has night mode for all of us gamers who enjoy being awake when no one else is.I have this connected to a freestanding stand, I decided not to use the stand it came with as it fits with all my other monitors this way better and I can turn the screen as needed. So I cannot comment on the stand. The power button is on the very bottom middle and also serves as the joystick to navigate the menu.Freesync has been working great. Also what I didn’t see in the description is that this monitor does have the option to put a crosshair on the screen, there are a few to choose from and you can move it around to get the perfect spot for your game. You can also adjust the Black level to either be brighter or darker. This affects things like shadows and can make enemies easier to see.My overall mark of this monitor would be a 10/10. Samsung out did themselves.
