This is a great chair for the price—heck, it’s a great chair for a lot more. So, it’s safe to say that the thing I like the most is the value. In the case of this chair, low price doesn’t translate into shoddy quality—quite the contrary—the quality is excellent. I only found small traces of flashing in two spots, which was easy to fix with my craft knife.The next thing I like is the comfort. This is the first office chair I’ve had with a headrest. It felt a tad odd at first, but I warmed up to it right away. And the lumbar support feels terrific! And my wife and I both agree that the chair exudes a definite Star Wars Storm Trooper vibe. Very cool.Let’s discuss assembly, which can be challenging if the product suffers from poor design and manufacturing. This chair shows clear attention to assembly by the consumer. For the most part, everything fit and lined up correctly, making assembly pleasant.Here are my assembly tips.1) Start all the bolts loosely, taking care not to cross-thread them. I learned this technique the hard way. Once all the bolts are started, tighten them hand-tight using the supplied hex wrench. Do not tighten with a power tool like a drill driver. You run the risk of stripping the mount, an accident you can’t easily bounce back from.2) When you have more than two bolts, tighten them in a crisscross pattern, as shown in the picture of attaching the mechanism to the seat bottom. It’s always a best practice to tighten things like this, as it helps keep the assembly square and evenly secured.3) Arm attachment involves using a circular rubber pad with a raised square on one side. Install the pad with the square towards the chair back and move it until you feel it fits into place. Then, tighten the arm and snap in the decorative cap.Hint: The tighter you set the bolt, the harder it becomes to move the arms later. Experiment with tightness until you get it just right.4) When you attach the seat bottom to the back, it’s a great idea to have a flashlight handy to line up the holes. The mounting points are difficult to see because of the combination of black fabric and shadow from the parts. Remember, start each bolt loosely and tighten them in a crisscross pattern.This terrific chair seems sturdy enough to meet my needs for years. If your office needs a seating upgrade, this chair is right for you.One word of caution when ordering: I requested the small size because my workspace is, shall we say, compact. This chair is anything but small! It stands 47″ tall with a depth of 25″. Fortunately, it fits nicely, but there’s only 2″ to spare:>)
