Rock-solid stability, quiet lift motor, three presets, under desk hooks and cable management.
About a year ago, a desk this size with a quiet electric lift would cost at least twice as much. I have a non-height-adjustable computer workstation/desk that is 48″x26.5″ and struggle at times to fit everything I need on it. This electric standing desk is 55″x28″ and that slightly larger surface area is immediately noticeable.As for the electric lift, it is super quiet and has three presets. You can change elevation pressing an UP or DOWN button and release the button when it gets to the desired height. You can also program three numbered buttons (1, 2 & 3) for preset heights. For me, if browsing the web or streaming content, I like the desk on the lower end of the scale. If writing or doing intense work it has to be slightly higher, like standard desk height.There has been a lot of hype about standing desks being healthier, which recent studies determined that there is no significant benefit. But I can tell you from personal experience it is wonderful to be able to stand at the desk during long days of constant desk-based tasks.My desk sits in a quadruple bay window but with an ultra-wide monitor the view of the outside world is compromised — except if I press the “3” button to let the desk rise to 46.5″. At that height I can continue to work but up on my legs I can also move around a bit to see what is happening outside. The change in posture is refreshing and feels like I am walking outside, but I am working on the computer feeling refreshed.As for assembly, the instructions were pretty clear. I have a lot of furniture assembly experience and rarely find instructions to be excellent. This one is in the middle — the instructions are adequate, but you need to be careful to watch exactly how the pieces are oriented. The drawings show all he screw/bolt holes and orientation of the tabs and parts, but they are simple line drawings and if you just casually glance at them you might discover you need to later redo something because you oriented the part incorrectly.I had to go back a step three times to even up the gap where the two side (smaller) desktop pieces meet the larger center desktop section. I kept ending up with a wider gap in the front part of the desktop versus the rear part of the desktop. Each attempt required loosening six screws, then pushing at both ends of the desktop to close the wider part of the gap. On the third try we were able to get the gap ALMOST even; still slightly wider, but I was tired of messing with the thing! If that one issue bugs me enough I will probably try to correct it once again. But it is now barely noticeable so I might just live with it.Despite my above frustration, this desk is AWESOME. The lift motor is very quiet, the desk looks great and is rock solid stable. There are two hanging hooks below deck and also a three-hole cable management appliance at the center rear.I added a clamp-on basket to keep all the wires from my setup hidden below deck. But so far, I have not moved my VICO clamp-on keyboard drawer over to this new desk. I will wait a week or two to see if I really need that. I like the drawer because it keeps the keyboard (Logitech MX Keys S) and mouse (Logitech MX3S) under the desk to maximize desktop workspace.So, where would you find a desk like this for $169? Pretty inexpensive for the stability and features this item provides.

Perfect size for computer desk. The desk are sturdy. The electric lift are quiet and operate flawlessly. Digital control are easy to operate and build in wire organize management make it perfect. Love it.
