    SteelSeries Wired Mouse
SteelSeries Esports FPS Gaming Mouse- Works Well- Affordable- Customizable Software Download- Ergonomic and Comfortable Design- Extra Long Braided Sturdy Cable 6 feet+/2 meters+- Upscale and Highly Protective Packaging- SteelSeries Customer and Product Support is Readily Available via Contact UsI’m very hard on mice and opt for a corded/wired mouse. Wireless mice tend to hit the floor more often than corded styles. I appreciate the sturdy, extra-long cable (some wired mouse cables are very short).Computer mice vary dramatically in price – anywhere from $4 to $600. The 99¢Store, Miniso,100 Yen Store,1 Euro Shop, Daiso, BigDollar, 200 Baht Shop, etc. ultra-cheap mice don’t last longer than a couple of months, so it’s worth spending a bit more on a mouse manufactured by a known and reputable brand, such as SteelSeries.I purchased two of the SteelSeries mice in the last week and highly recommend them. A $15 – $20 mouse does not have all of the bells and whistles that a $250 – $600 mouse has, but they work well.

    Light weight, durable, and reliable.
Great gaming mouse for claw grip users. I purchased a second one to replace my original one that I purchased during COVID-19 (Late 2020) as it has started to show signs of wear. The original still works flawlessly and I use it as a secondary mouse for my other PCs.The build quality is fantastic and has a nice click to it. Some may not like the loud click, but the response and tactile feel of the click cannot be beat. I tried using the top end mice from Razer, Logitech, ZOWIE, and ASUS but they felt too light and albeit, cheap due to the weight. I prefer a heavier mouse and the weight of this is just right. Battery life is excellent an on par with mice that come out even today. Sadly, this mouse has not been updated to support 4k or 8k polling rates, but it still feels responsive but won’t beat other mice in benchmarks. Real-world use you hardly notice the difference.I did upgrade the feet over time as it wore down, but the default feet are fantastic. I love the paracord cable that it comes with. Allows me to game and charge. Overall, 10/10 mouse for the price. Paid $100 back when it was newer, and ~$32 now is a steal.

Prime+ Very Comfortable for Larger Palm Contact Preference and Material Feels Very Nice
The mouse is super comfortable (the Prime+) for those who like more palm contact. The material is very satisfying to touch and grip. I haven’t gamed yet with the sensor but I feel like it will perform at or above expectations.I also noticed my ring and pinky finger aren’t dragging off on the side on the mousepad like they were with my recently returned XM1r (it was unbearable). So this is also a plus for the Prime+.This may sound a bit odd, but in a game like Rust where you have to farm resources by hitting nodes repeatedly, this mouse feels like it would be incredible for that. Honestly I feel like it will be my “farming mouse” on my secondary system.Happy with purchase.

Kinda sorta close to a wireless EC-2 with amazing feeling optical switches
Pros:- Good sensor, feels accurate and responsive- INCREDIBLE feeling optical switches for 1 and 2!- USB Type-C charging port- Good battery life- Includes wireless adapter for the charging cable/dongle- Pretty good stock feet (with tiger ices already available)- Shape feels like a slightly less refined EC-2, but still alright- Coating is good, but I wish it were a a little smoother (I think it would get more grip that way)- Really solid feeling constructionCons:- Side buttons are tiny- Scroll wheel is kind of hard to press consistently (but still scrolls well)- Weight should go down at least 10g, I feel like ~70g would feel fantastic with this mouseThoughts:Have you ever really wanted to use a product because of a single really, really good feature it has? For me, it’s the optical switches on this mouse. No joke, these new optical switches feel so phenomenal, that I’m willing to put up with my gripes just to feel the clicks. Looking at their design on steelseries’ website, they look like they should maintain their click feel forever, but only time will tell on that. If you don’t know how they work, basically you press down on the button to actuate a spring that’s held in place by a neodymium magnet that snaps down and breaks the laser beam to register a click. They do really feel light, but snappy. The shape is very reminiscent of a Zowie EC-2, with the main difference being that the curves aren’t quite as defined. It’s not awful, but I think that those curves would have made a little bit of a better shape. The coating for the body is okay, but I think it would have been more grippy if it were a little more fine. I always feel a little worried that the mouse is going to slip out of my hand. It sort of has a dry feeling to it if that makes any sense. The surface is vastly better than their rubberized sides in my opinion. The side buttons are teeny tiny for no reason. They really should be at least twice the size and stick out a little more. I feel like I’m going out of my way to hit them compared to other mice. The scroll wheel also feels a little hard to consistently press, but I think it’s something that could be gotten used to.I think that with the combination of the slightly off EC-2 shape, dry feeling surface, and 80g weight, it can feel heavier than it is sometimes. I really think this mouse could have benefited greatly from being a little lighter. I imagine the wired versions feel pretty good, but I just love not slapping around a cable. Conclusion:Steelseries is finally moving in the right direction with their mice. They’ve always boasted about really gimmicky stuff as being some new revolutionary thing they’ve invented, but this time they’re on to something with their OM switches. If these can feel as good from click 1 to click 100 million as they claim, then the design absolutely needs to be copied by other brands. As they feel right now, I actually prefer these optical switches to any mechanical switch I’ve tried. If this changes, I’ll be sure to note approximately when they started to fade and under how much use. I don’t think I’d say that this can 100% be the wireless EC-2 you’re looking for, but it is a solid wireless ergo entry into the market.

I wanted to wait a couple of years before giving my verdict, but it’s still great to use. The problem I’ve had with other mice, gaming or not, is that its mouse wheel tends to break way before its intended lifespan, but I’ve had no issue with this one.The version I have is wired which I prefer for the lowest possible latency compared to the many wireless models. It’s a simple mouse yet very reliable and good enough to use for everyday situations.

Une bonne alternative à une G pro

Even though this is best suited for a right handed mouse, it still works for a left handed person. Very precise if you need it and the RGB lighting is till enough. Works great with the SteelSeries app!!
