Love it!!
Wow. Love this camera so far. Only had a week or so but it’s great! I kayak and hike and I’m always nervous about using my iPhone to take pictures in my canoe and kayak or around water. This camera is really well made. The first day I got it I went to the river and tested it out. Works underwater and can get completely wet. I took it on a kayak trip the other day and it took amazing pics and no issues at all. It was in water multiple times during the day.Plus when I get home I take the SIM card out and put it into my SIM card reader and then I put it into my iPad and download the pics. Works amazingly well!! Five stars!

Great little camera!
This camera replaced my little Canon waterproof camera that gave out after many years of use. We use this camera for our sports-based adventures, when I don’t want to risk my Nikon D5300. It has kayaked Class II rapids with us and rode along on our bike trips. I will be testing it out skiing soon. It is compact without being tiny, as I have pretty big hands. It attaches easily to my life jacket and I can fit it in my handlebar bag when we bike. The autofocus, and scene selections handle different types of settings. The shots come out crisp for the situations I’ve used it so far.

Works well for the price point
I have had other under water cameras and this one met expectations. It is easy to hold and operate with one hand. The picture quality is not as good as a GoPro or a more expensive underwater camera but it takes decent photos and is better in low light situations than my previous camera. Great for family vacation memories but not award winning photos.

I bough a cheaper one for my grand daughter. Stopped working at 6 hours.This is twice the price but a bargain for the performance.Do not forget to buy the memory.

Horrible Horrible picture quality no matter what. Pictures come out blurred and not crisp. Have not used under water just taking Pictures for work to document containers. Do not recommend this product. Would send back but work but a pain in ass since it’s for work.

Great snapshot camera.
So far the Kodak Pixpro WPZ2 has been working as expected. It takes decent snapshots. The accompanying image is downsized from 4608×3456 to 900×675 pixels. So, it really doesn’t represent the possible resolution. but shows the color and contrast. It has a nice wide angle default image and somewhat decent optical zoom to 4X. As it is with most digital devices, going beyond that into digital zoom isn’t valuable to me. It comes with a brief starter manual. You can easily find the full manual online to unlock all of the capabilities.. I added a cheap plastic screen protector for the back because the glass is pretty exposed. I’d say that with an inexpensive 32 gig microSD memory card and a second battery, you’d be pretty set to take a week’s worth of photos on a trip. I generally don’t do much with videos but they are ok for this sort of camera.One issue with the features is that the Wifi is for connecting to a cell phone app to show pictures via your phone. From what I’ve found, I can’t simply download images to my PC with the camera’s Wifi. It has a supplied USB cord for that or you can transfer them from the memory card.So, the two shots are unaltered. One is wide angle and the other is full 24X of the same building. Another issue is that the protective glass over the lens can very easily get a greasy fingerprint on it. So, if you can find some kind of lens cap, it would be a good addition.Added 2/14/25 We took this camera on our recent cruise and I had a chance to take some underwater shots in underwater mode. Some photos included.

Heed the Warnings
If you’re looking for a digital camera that takes acceptable photos, look somewhere else. Several reviewers indicated that the camera produced pictures of poor quality; however, I was purchasing this for my 13-year-old to take to camp, so I wasn’t expecting superb photo quality, but I didn’t expect the quality to be as poor as it was. Everything about the camera was fine — appeared to be well built, straightforward instructions, accessories, etc. — except for the photos. Save your time and money and buy a good-quality refurbished camera. If you decide to purchase the camera like I did, immediately check the picture quality before taking it on a trip, so it can be returned, and a replacement can be found.

Lasted two months. Did not survives a 1m fall
This was decent for the time it worked. Pictures were about par. Better than my phone. Worked okay underwater. Was a good beach trip camera. It fell from about 1m on kitchen tile, and now there is an error message that renders it useless. So do not believe the 2m shock proof statement. But the waterproof feature is decent. If you can always wear the wrist strap, you should be fine with this camera. You will need to buy backup batteries. And as others mentioned, the suggested SIM card on Amazon to buy as a bundle for this is not the right size.

J’ai acheté cet appareil pour un enfant : je le voulais solide et de petite taille et ne contenant pas des jeux sans lien avec la photographie.Il comprend une mémoire interne (environ 8 mb) qui ne rend pas obligatoire l’achat d’une carte mémoire micro SB.Le système de fermeture/blocage me semble un peu léger (voir à l’usage).

Bought the red one 10 months ago for our 21 years old daughter who works on the cruise ship. The daughter and her friends all love this camera because they can take pretty good photos. Pretty good as a water camera as well for both video & photos. So some of her friends bought the same camera. Then we bought 2nd one ( this white one ) for our other daughter (16 years old) and she is very happy with the camera. Young people love to use digital camera lately other than the mobile camera.Highly recommended this camera for anyone looking for classic digital camera.

Really great piece of kit, used it on a holiday to Tunisia.. Does everything it says when comes to using underwater.. Great picture quality, both in photos and videos.. Absolutely worth every penny, was alot cheaper than buying an underwater case for my Nikon D750…
