It’s tiny but good. No low-end bass, but has some mid bass
When I received my package, I was quite surprised at how small the box that the speaker unit came in. However, when I tested it, I was impressed. This actually has some mid bass! The added passive radiator really extended the mid bass well. Although this is by no means a subwoofer replacement because it still lacks low-end bass, and that the bass is subtle and not dominant or booming, so don’t expect heavy bass to be very obvious in your listening experience. The passive radiator just helps give some bass response on the mid bass that a lot of 2.0 budget systems lack. The unit can only be connected one way, and that’s through a usb-A plug with an attached adaptor for usb-C. There are no other inputs. There aren’t any manual controls either. There’s no power button, no led light to let you know if it’s on, and there are no manual volume control buttons. You control everything through your computer/phone’s volume toggle. I was able to use it on my PC and my Mac using the usb-A. I was also able to try it on both my android and iPhone through the usb-C charging port. It will show up as headphones on the phones. And you might have to manually switch your audio device on the pc or mac. I didn’t have to on the pc, but i did have to switch it when I used it on my mac. A drawback for using it on the phone is that it will drain your battery quickly. You might need to get a usb-C dongle to be able to charge and use the speaker unit without fear of draining your phone. The usb cable is also non-removable. So if you damage the wire at some point, you’re pretty much SOL. The cable is also not that long, around 4ft-ish, but since this was intended to be used as a fixed placed speaker and not portable, it’s understandable why they chose that design route. As for the sound, it’s pretty decent! Dialogue is pretty clear on YouTube videos. It also plays songs decently. There’s some separation in instruments, but there is little soundstage. It’s also decently loud and can fill a 10×10 ft room easily. It has some bass up to around 100 hz, and can actually go lower but it gradually becomes inaudible as soon as it dips below 100 hz mark. The bass it makes is more of a complimentary addition to the overall sound, but as I said, it’s subtle. If your expectation is a thundering bass or a strong bass response, this is not it, and I would recommend you get a real 2.1 system. Also, I did encounter a problem with my USB keyboard needing to be unplugged/replugged because it didn’t power on while the speaker was plugged in after waking it from sleep. I am stating this because it could be a deal breaker for some. The speaker and the mouse worked fine after waking up from sleep but not the keyboard. Even though this happens, I’m not docking a point off because this is more of a driver issue in my motherboard and not the speaker’s fault. I know this because this also happens when I plug a USB device like an SD card reader or a USB mic.

Nice small rectangular speaker
Just a simple speaker that will plug into a USB port (Type A or use the included adapter for a Type C port). No volume control on the speaker, use the computer to control volume. It has two anti-skid pads on bottom to prevent it from sliding about on the desktop. Cord is listed as 4 feet, I guess it is about that. I have a sitting/standing desk so when I raise the desk I do have to move this speaker to the side my desktop is on since it is plugged into that (I don’t use it with my work laptop).There are no LED lights or buttons of any type on this speaker. You simply plug it into the USB port and in my case, Windows 11 recognized it and I was able to use it. Sound is decent for this single not too large speaker. I have not had any interference with this one like my older speakers had. I do use my laptop stand to angle this slightly so the speaker is aimed towards my head instead of my chest. It seems to help slightly although I guess either way isn’t too bad.

5 stars is too little
I have only had the chance to use this speaker for a couple hours, but holy crap, I was not expecting this at all.It’s bassy, but the mids and top end is clear and balanced?? It’s just a very nice sound that’s not just LOUD, but crisp and pleasant. Again, I was not expecting this, especially not from a USB speaker. I’m using it with the USB-C adapter, connected to my laptop through my monitor. No issues at all, just plugged it in and my laptop immediately grabbed it, which is just such a breathe of fresh air for an audio peripheral. I would honestly give this 10 stars if it went that high.

A top tier speaker in the this price range!
THIS IS TRULY a bargain speaker for your PC! Although I am not an audiophile I do like to have decent audio with my PC. The speakers on the back of my monitors are terrible…actually barely audible, and the Amazon basics set I picked up awhile back were not much better. This speaker is powered and fed audio over a USB connection, not the audio jack on your PC’s sound card device. I won’t say that it’s the equivalent of a high end stereo setup of course, but I will say that it’s VERY good and punches well above it’s weight. The included instructions state that you will get better performance plugging it into a USB type A port instead of the USB type C ports. I had an “A” port available so that’s what I am using and I am very pleased with both the volume and crispness of the sound. I recommend it.

Compact computer speaker
This speaker sounds good. The plug-and-play USB design is nice, it doesn’t require extra software or drivers, and the USB-C to USB adapter is a nice addition too. The design makes it a good fit for my desk setup and it doesn’t take up much space. While the sound quality is fine for general use, it lacks the deep bass and richness found in larger speakers. It’s great for VTC meetings and the like.

Unable to use it…
I got this USB speaker to replace my old bulky desktop speakers. I wanted something smaller and hopefully with good sound. This speaker looked like exactly what I needed. I am running Windows 11 in my laptop and the installation should be pretty straight forward. Unfortunately, no, it was not. The instructions insert is very brief and describes a simple installation process. But actually the device created a conflict of some sort and I found myself restarting my laptop several times. When finally the conflict was resolved, then I was not able to install it at all. There are no buttons of any kind on the speaker or even a light to tell you that the device is on. So, you are left with little to do. Being unable to use it or install it, I cannot be other than deeply disappointed.
