    Amazing hand feel
I’m not a gamer but I am in autoCAD often. This mouse has an amazing feeling in hand. I also like that I can map controls to buttons easily. Want a line, no prob, thats button one. A circle, oh yeah, I got that mapped to button 2. This mouse is value incarnate.

    I don’t hate it.
Obviously this was meant to compete in the Razer Naga market and i think it’s a pretty good contender actually. Judging by looks, this is quite similar to the Naga series. The interchangeable button arrays that can be fitted offer either three side-buttons or nine side-buttons. The buttons aren’t bad at all. i have no complaints about the buttons on either side plate. all of them click with minimal effort. The placement combined with the haphazard “profiling” of these side buttons make them extremely difficult to identify using only the nerves in your thumb. For whatever reason, i don’t think it was a great idea to design these buttons so that they’re all completely unique shapes. It feels bad and because of the design of the opposite side plate (the side without any switches, but rather a choice between a smooth right fender, or a fender that provides a couple tiny ledges for your fingers to rest along. It seems like it would probably feel a lot like a Naga in your hand, but it unfortunately does not. At all. This feels much more like a logitech 502 in my hand except for the thumb positioning. This mouse expects a claw grip, but positions the side-buttons such that they’re your main anchor-point for driving this mouse. you’re essentially holding it with your thumb and your ring finger.I should confess that i don’t use the 12-button side plate for my Naga. The primary reason that i use them is the shape of the mouse rather than the buttons. it’s a small, wide mouse and it’s pretty flat at the peak height. This mouse sits a few degrees shy of being a vertical mouse. Your knuckles are almost perpendicular to the table. I am harping on this point because the difference in their design is what decides where you’re going to grip this mouse and that spot happens to be right in the center of that 9-button array. Consequently, it can be a bit awkward learning to drive this mouse without accidentally hitting the side-buttons.The weight of this thing is very nice. My second reason for wanting to try it. My mouse is wireless, making it pretty heavy comparatively. I did not notice any real advantage or disadvantage to the curb weight of the mouse actually. I like either one and i don’t feel partial to them. I did buy some of the high density PTFE mouse skates, though i was very suspicious that they would just be typical density PTFE skates with a marketing spell cast on them. I was happily wrong in this expectation as well. These skates are very tiny dots and surprisingly do feel to be a different material. Most importantly, they don’t make any noise. The stock skates were so loud on the etched glass pad. The brand i bought was Hystar. Brings the friction scary close to that found between a hein and ceramic skates, but not quite as good. Still very good for such a reasonable fee.The software is typical. It’s not synapse, so that will make a lot of people happy. Some people consider that a feature. I don’t feel as strongly. Synapse seemed odd to me in the early 00’s, but i haven’t actually ever had any problems from it. I even use Synapse to control/monitor all of my fans because it uses USB instead of motherboard headers. Because my cooling pump/radiators/etc is all external and located at the end of a very long set of hoses, razer’s weird fan controller came in pretty clutch by allowing me to monitor and control all the different pwm signals over a single USB cable and thankfully, the signal is strong enough to endure the extra length of cable.I like that there is someone trying to compete in this space more than anything else. This doesn’t suck though. It doesn’t beat a Naga’s ergonomics at all. by any means, but if i didn’t own a Naga, i would be using this mouse.

    Load Driver thru Terminal Admin.
just be sure to download the driver and load it thru Terminal Admin so it will load up the next time you turn on your computer. Otherwise it did not remember the settings and I had to turn on the program and hit the Apply button each day. Love this mouse. I was able to set all the buttons I wanted for my program. Happy!

Great value, very light, breathable surface, highly customizable, many buttons
So, I’m kinda a mouse guy. I daily drive a g604 (and I got a spare g604), I also use a g702s. Aside from those, I also have some other rare, or harder to find mice, that all share one feature, many buttons that are not arranged in a grid. That’s the first thing I noticed about this mouse. Look at all the glorious buttons, and look at how nice they are arranged. It may appear grid-like, but it’s not your typical MMO-mouse grid, which is why I like it. The shape of the side buttons help set each side button apart from each other.A good mouse needs to have alot of buttons that are arranged and shaped in such a way that you don’t have to look at your mouse to know which button to press or where your thumb is at.If you’re not a fan of many buttons on the side, you can just easily swap out the side plate to one of the other 2 side plates this mouse comes with.I also like the 2 buttons on the left clicker. My g702 had 3, and although I’ve gotten used to the 2 on my g604 and this mouse, I will always feel like a 3rd button could exist on the left clicker. In addition to the side and left-click buttons, this mouse also has on-the-fly DPI changing. Every preset DPI has a color assigned to it so when you change to that DPI, the front of the mouse changes to that color.Pressing a combination of one of the side buttons and the DPI buttons cycles between the lighting effects. Another side button with a DPI button changes the polling rate, though I didn’t notice any visual feedback from the mouse to know if it was changed. This mouse has been so useful, that I used it for a week at work before I even bothered to install the software.Once I did install the software, it features even more customization, from the lighting to the DPI settings.Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed at how much mouse you get for the price. It checks all the boxes I look for in a mouse, from customizability, to features, to lighting. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better value.

Good quality, but not right for me
I was turned onto this mouse due to it’s shape. It is very similar to the Dux50bk, my all-time favorite mouse. Unfortunately, this mouse is significantly larger than the Dux50bk, so it was simply not comfortable for me to use. That said, I’ll share some details on the mouse:-The side buttons require more force that I expected to press. Some of them I actively needed to squeeze the mouse to fully depress, which interrupts mouse movement-The side buttons are not very “clicky” – with the exception of L/R, all buttons are stiff tactile buttons-The side buttons, despite having some bumps and whatnot, are very slippery. Picking the mouse up was difficult due to this-The L/R mouse buttons are very satisfying. In an age where most mice are moving to optical switches, having traditional mechanical switches is a treat. The pressure to click was perfect and there was nearly zero pre or post travel.-The mouse was simply too large to use comfortably in a claw grip due to side button placement, slipperiness, and the largeness of the mouse. I have medium sized hands and I would think folks with large hands would enjoy this mouse the most.-The packaging and overall feel and quality of the mouse was quite good
