The innovative design combines a Spandex seat with SmartMax sides to provide a structured spot that also moves with you. It’s the perfect luxurious addition to bedrooms, dens, dorms, rec rooms, and living rooms. It’s filled with a scientifically identified amount of bean filling so when you sit on it, it’s super comfy! And, bean refill bags are sold separately so you can give it a pick-me-up whenever needed, since all well-loved bean bags compress over time. For child safety and durability reasons, we intentionally break off the outside zipper pull before shipment. If you need to open your bag, simply use a paperclip to pull it open. Detailed instructions can be found on the warning label attached to your Big Joe. The cover is not removable, but may be spot cleaned as needed.

A great gift
This worked really well as a Christmas gift for an 8-year-old. He loves it for his gaming area. The color is really bright and fun for a kids space, and the size is perfect for him. I love that it has the little pocket on the side to hold some stuff like his controller or whatever he wants to throw in there.

Good chair
Fun smooshy seat. With use it is slowly loosing shape a bit, but kids don’t seem to care. I’ve spot cleaned and it looks fine. Also held up to large dog bouncing all over it.I bought this because my kid broke his leg. It is one of his favorite spots to sit now because of comfort.

Great alternative to work/task and armchairs
I needed something I could lounge in a little, and at this price it seemed like worth a shot, even though my student days are decades behind me. But this makes a perfect change from sitting in more structured chairs like armchairs or my mesh desk chair. I can sit while stretching my legs out on the floor ahead of me and just relaxing (or, best, listening to music). I’m astonished at what a great value this thing is.

Not the quality I expected
I bought from this company 5 years ago and was very happy- no so much now. The quality has gone down. The beads inside are small cheap filling you could find in a dollar store pillow toy. Last time it was full and could stay without losing it’s shape. I would not buy again!

Buying a bean bag chair it difficult never clearly knowing what you are going to get. This chair came as shown and filled and my son could not be happier. The back support is much better than expected as well!

We bought this for our 6 year son to have in his play room. He really likes it and enjoys playing on it and sitting on it.The base material is great, I’m sure it will last forever and the top of the chair is soft and comfy. I just hope it lasts along time too.
